I'm running Sonar 8.5.3 on Windows 10. I have never had a problem until a few days ago when Session Drummer 3, PX percussion Strip, and VX vocal strip all started causing problems during a VST scan. I followed the workaround I found on here, which was to run the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4, but no joy. I did stop the scan errors abut they are still not showing up on my instrument/Audio effects. Does anyone know if an update for Windows has been made in the past few days. I do remember it running something but not sure. Also, does anyone know if running the Microsoft patch above could mess up my system? Thanks.
Every organ plugin I've tried leaves the last notes played still playing after stopping playing. It's obvious they do not receive that final "note off" command but there is nothing I know to do about it. There used to be a setting, as far as I can remember, the sent those events when this happens. I can also turn the notes off my doing a "sweep" up and down my keyboard controller on the specific notes that are hung. What I find strange is that it happens with all the organ plugins I've tried which means it has to be a problem with Sonar. Sonar 8.5
Hello~ As the title states, I'm getting no sound from Dimension Pro in Sonar 8.5. I've been googling and found plenty of other people with the same problem, but have not seen any solutions. My inputs/outputs are all set up correctly, other soft synths work fine, Input Echo is on, and the volume monitor shows activity when I use my midi keyboard - yet, no sound. Anyone know what could be wrong?
