About Me

  1. My last post was a song about the loss of a love. This song is a continuation of this saga where the subject of this song finds real love and it's right next door. It is silly, Bluesy, and fun. Again I am trying to emulate a wee bit of the Jimmy Reed style. I hope that you like it. As always I would appreciate any comments, crit's and comments Thanks and I hope you enjoy. HELLO MR. BYE BYE BABY

Some where way down on that SoundClick list, of what I am calling songs, is one called Bye Bye Baby Bye Bye. Well, I borrowed 3/5's of the title and the lyrics and was determined to set these to a different arrangement. Below is the result of this effort. I found the "train" drum beat (prominent in many rockabilly songs) rather difficult. Sooo, I imagine that my timing problem will be even more pronounced in this number (toward the end especially). Therefore, as usual I would appreciate any comments, crit.'s, and suggestions. Thanks! BYE BYE BABY https://www.soundclick.com/freddyj

    Democracy Blues

Here, is a song which is intended to encourage us all to get out and exercise our rights and duties as citizens of this democracy. Get on out and vote y'all. This one is primitive, striped down, and raw. It took me ages to get the sound of the lead guitar just right (I almost got it like I wanted). I was going for that gravelly. over driven sound of the early electric guitar sound of jump Blues and early electric Blues. It is raw and basic but I hope you enjoy and that it might induce a consideration to participate in our democracy. I also hope that it gets you toes to tapping. As always comment, suggestions, and crit.'s will be very much appreciated. Thanks DEMOCRACY BLUES https://www.soundclick.com/artist/default.cfm?bandid=963481
