About Me

  1. Hello. I'm a newbie. I was wondering if it's possible to only use the keys in the piano roll view that I need. You see, I'm using third party plugins that don't need to use that many keys. They only need a handful of keys. And they do work, it's just that I get confused trying to navigate through all the keys on the piano roll view. There's like a ton of keys I don't need. I only need a few that do actually work when pressed, but they're not outlined or highlighted in anyway. So I have to guess which one is which. I was wondering if it's possible to modify the layout of the piano roll view to fit the few keys I need in the plugin... Does that make sense? I hope it does! I apologize for any inconvenience.
  2. Does anyone know if it is possible to create a 2 tone color shade in the Piano Roll View to distinguish each subsequent bars. For example a light grey color for the first 4 beats (bar 1), and a darker grey for the second 4 beats (bar 2), and a light grey again for bar 3, and a darker grey for bar 4 etc. If this feature is not currently available. I would to see it in future update. It makes it very easy on the eyes.

After the October 2019 update, the Piano Roll view (Alt+3) in Cakewalk by BandLab does not open. Help solve the problem, please.
