About Me

  1. Just to thank you by Cakewalk, which I find it wonderful and powerful; and to suggest you a feature: just mirroring the plugins folder tree structure in Plugins TAB, as in Windows Explorer. Oftenly, we want to organize our - usually many - thirdy party plugins by ourselves, and this is a very fast way to do that. I used to use that feature in my ancient Synapse Orion (below) and that make things pretty simple. Thats just a suggestion, I know how hard things could be. Thank you for this nice piece of software.
  2. Is there a way to group tracks in Cakewalk? For example, if any has ever used an art program, you can group layers into folders, and then click an arrow to drop down to see the layers. Same thing with Ableton. I've seen people group tracks and it looks very organized. I know you can color code in CbB, but is there a way to somehow connect a track so it will looked more organized and be less cluttered in the track pane. Here is an image to kind of explain what I am talking about: (The drums group drops down to a kick, a second kick, and a snare)
  3. I recently tried to make a project with Cakewalk and found the plugin feature for displaying the genuine folder tree system missing from the instrument effects and the instrument synthesizers section. I have a small library of plugins with an oriented folder tree structure allocation ease for topical use. I am now stuck with either supposed uncategorized alphabetical order or manufacturer/creator listing for my organized structure of folders labeled for intended type of usage. Please allow the genuine folder tree structure to be selectable for people orientated like me. Sonar had the genuine folder setting as default... Some extra notes: (this extra space is reserved for a "forgotten" important note. below is a regular note) The amount of plugins I have are so numberous that many are listed a containers. Expanding the plugins amount will allow (power users)function collectors like me to utilize all of our assets in a more timely manner.
  4. My VST plugins (approx. 2,100) need some organizing in Cakewalk using Cakewalk's Plugin Manager. But I will need to do the same for Cubase. Is there any way I can use my organization in Cakewalk in Cubase (or vice versa) so i don't need to do the same thing twice in both DAW software? Is there any third party software tools that will assist with the process?
