About Me

  1. Make the track manager a click a drag menu so track order can quickly be rearranged. Or let a user right click a track there and type in a number to move the track from one location to another. Like from track 10 to track 3.
  2. The Track Manager has a smaller footprint, so that makes it easier to see MIDI channel information together in one area.
  3. So, it's awesome that we users are given a forum to offer suggestions. But: How many people suggest the same thing and don't even know it? Wouldn't it be great to not re-submit someone else's idea because we'd see that person already did that? Wouldn't it be great if we could have a way to second someone else's suggestion to build more support for it...and we could see that in one location? Wouldn't it be more fulfilling for the ones offering a suggestion to see whether the idea is being pursued and a penciled-in timeframe when the feature might be released? Most importantly, it would be great to have a resource that says, 'Actually, dude, that feature is already IN the DAW and here is where to find it.'
  4. I use Cakewalk professionally approximately 60-70 hours a week at a busy studio, and I'd say 95% of the time I'm recording ONE SOURCE at a time (mainly vocals). Having a global "RECORD SOLO" button would be a TREMENDOUS convenience/timesaver, instead of constantly having to disable record-ready on one track, and then enable another. It would also help avoid the occasional issue of accidentally recording over stuff on another track that you forgot to disable. Thank You!
