About Me

  1. My Netflix project is finished! (whew!) 18 distinct cues based on 6 themes for a total run time of 43:35, plus an additional 38 minutes of incidental music. The bills are all paid for next quarter and then some (again... whew!). Here's a piece that didn't make the cut, so I thought I'd have a little fun with it on my own. Enjoy!
  2. At the risk of oversaturating the market, I'm submitting yet another cue from the second act of my current project. Enjoy!
  3. Another cue for a late scene of the first act. Music director asked for something that was similar to "Pink Floyd meets Interstellar". Dug out my geetar for the first time in about 4 months. No calluses. Ouch. EDIT: (YouToob did something wishy/washy to the compression on upload, but it's close)
  4. Another cue from the movie project that I'm working on. This is slated for the leading splash/rolling intro credits and dumps abruptly into the opening dialog.
  5. haven't seen it but an interesting article on the sound design for it. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/10/22/movies/hans-zimmer-dune.html?campaign_id=9&emc=edit_nn_20211025&instance_id=43710&nl=the-morning&regi_id=98110677&segment_id=72580&te=1&user_id=0561979f4c950adb778ad5da65811b04 my fave quote from the article; "bagpipe PTSD". seems like it would be a fit for Spitfire Audio.
  6. The vast tundra conceals many secrets.
  7. (Krzystof Komeda's) Rosemary's Baby - Electric Guitar Cover Hello guys. This is my electric guitar cover of Krzystof Komeda's ''Rosemary's Baby'', soundtrack song of popular Roman Polanski's movie. It was fully created by me, i did physically record, and after that i edited and mixed the guitars, and i recorded the piano as a virtual instrument. All these, of course via Cakewalk. It is my first full creation. I hope you will like it. Thanks in advance.

    Contactless

Playing around, trying to learn kontakt stuff, and this turned up. I think it is an ode to 2020, part side show, part gloom dancing together under the arp. Wearing blue gloves. Hope 2021 makes more sense. Thanks for listening, treesha
  9. Hi there, I made this Symphony completely in Cakewalk. Symphony Composed by Enrique Lacárcel. I had the privilege of personally consulting with Enrique for this piece. He himself was inspired by the work of John Williams "Across The Stars" Samples used from Chris Hein. I really like this program, after using several other programs I keep coming back to Cakewalk. My thumbs up to the developers. However, I am missing one important part and that is "Expression Maps". Me and many others would be grateful for this. For now I draw in all the key switching notes. Hope you like it and thanks for listening. Frank DB Or here https://www.bandlab.com/aboutjay/unscripted-suite-ii-love-theme-82bd9758?revId=4710f038-c90b-eb11-96f5-501ac5b31de6

    Escape

Hello, here's a track inspired by John Carpenter's original soundtracks from his 80s movies (the thing, Halloween, New York 1997, etc.) Entirely made with VSTi synths, mostly from Arturia and Native Instruments. Let me know what you think...
  11. It's been a while since I did an orchestral that includes woodwinds, but for some reason it felt like the right thing to do on this one (at least to me) [and hopefully it's more original than my last song]. ...or SoundCloud Hope you enjoy! (Comments and critique welcome)
  12. Between the Eternities https://soundcloud.com/orygun/between-the-eternities EDIT: I made some changes on the vocal part so use this link: https://soundcloud.com/orygun/between-the-eternities-v2 This might work as a soundtrack to a planetarium show. Not really sure about the vocal part though. Thanks for taking the time to listen.
