  2. MeldaProduction's MPowerSynth is on sale at 59% Off List Price: $ 220 Sale Price: $89 MPowerSynth is an extremely versatile synthesizer featuring the best sounding oscillators on the market, the most advanced distorting filters and a unique modular effects engine. It also features our smart randomization system providing endless inspiration!Sounds Better than Both Analog & Digital Almost all digital synthesizers on the market produce severe aliasing. Some try to fight it by oversampling, some ignore it, and others simply add some noise and tell you that this simulates analog synthesizers. Analog synthesizers on the other hand suffer from limited versatility, distortion induced by the imperfection of the analog components, and, of course, noise. MPowerSynth oscillators provide crystal clear sound free of any aliasing, distortion and other imperfections. More details here

  4. Hello everyone, I have question for those using Kontakt here. I'm working on a multi-instrumental track and I've loaded all the different instruments and patches into one instance of Kontakt 6 - so one synth with 11 output tracks . Is it possible to create a separate automation line for each track and with each instrument loaded into Kontakt, or does the automation work only per synth (in this case 1) ? Can't figure it out and it seems that there's not much support available about this case. Thanks in advance for your help !

  9. Hello I'm french so please forgive my english Why can't I save the automation of my soft synth ( Massive or others) when I close Cakewalk ? When I open Cakewalk next time and load my project, I can see the automation curve on the synth's track but this curve is writen "orphan" and doesn't pilot anymore the synth. Then it's impossible to record a new automation, I have to take off and put again the synthetiseur to be able to do a new automation. Thank you for your answers and helping Fred

  11. After loading Z3TA+ 2 as a soft-synth, I'm receiving a pop-up dialog saying, "Z3TA+ 2 is running in Demo Mode. Saving programs is disabled and periodic random silence will be produced." This version came with Cakewalk. I just double checked the old Cakewalk site and it's showing version 2.2.3.51, Released: 3/6/2017. I think the issue might be that I got a new computer and reinstalled everything fresh, so I suspect I'm missing a file from my old (which I still have). I thought this worked on my new computer. I downloaded the install from the old Cakewalk site, reinstalled, but still the same issue. From the Z3TA+ 2 Options button there is an Offline Activation option. The option are, "Export Activation Request" or "Import Activation Response", which I never had to do this since it came installed with each version. I don't see anywhere to paste the serial number to activate.

  13. Leizer

    Chromaphonia

This short track is made purely with one of my go-to soft synths, AAS Chromaphone 2. I like it for the analog feel and it got a lot of nice, plucky sounds. I guess many of you have some of the AAS synths, which is your favorite? Additional FX used, mostly Soundtoys stuff.
  14. Laptop #1 Start Cakewalk on an empty project Select menu Insert / Soft Synth / SI Drumkit Insert Soft Synth Options dialog appears. A new track is made. Life is good. Laptop #2 Start Cakewalk on an empty project Select menu Insert / Soft Synth / SI Drumkit Nothing happens. No dialog. No new track. Why? I deinstalled Cakewalk and the instruments on laptop #2, but after reinstalling the problem was unchanged. Is there a global parameter somewhere that needs jiggling? No other SI instrument on laptop #2 has this problem; all of the others show the Insert Soft Synth Options dialog. I edited the Cakewalk project with laptop #1 and added the SI Drums soft synth with these options: 2 tracks were created, as expected: I saved the project and opened it with laptop #2. The new tracks appeared and worked. The original problem remains. I don't want to have to use laptop #1 every time I need to add drums to a project. Thanks, Mike

  16. Total newbie here. I'm just trying to get the virtual instruments packaged with the new Cakewalk to record, such as Drum Kit 1. I open a new project, select Basic. I select "Insert" then "Soft Synth" and Drums, and SI-Drum Kit. This adds a track and assigns a default midi port. I can bring up the kit, select a sample pattern and loop it. I hear it in my headphones, and I see sound bars in the drum and master mix channels. I arm the drum track to record, then hit the main record button (set to overwrite). There is an active sound bar in the drum track and I hear the drums, but I do not see any sound patterns on the track itself, and there is nothing after I hit the stop button and attempt the play button. Is there some setting I'm missing? I've looked at the midi port settings, tried some variations with the other soft synths such as strings. The default is the Virtual Controller assigned to Midi Omni. I've tried setting this specifically to the SI-Drum Kit 1, Midi Omni, but still nothing is recorded. I'm running on an HP laptop, 16 GB RAM, Windows 8.1, new Cakewalk installation a few days ago. Thanks for any ideas to get me out of the ditch!
  17. So I've been trying desperately to find the best way of converting a soft synth to multiple audio tracks. I don't mind freezing but I wanted the audio tracks to be unfrozen. I've found a way to do this operation very easily and thought I'd share it for anyone who wishes to do the same. Assuming that you have a softsynth setup already going to multiple tracks: 1: Highlight all tracks and freeze them 2: Highlight all frozen tracks you want, and go to: tracks/Duplicate tracks... (make sure events and properties are ticked) Click ok! You will then have: All your tracks created and named with the audio data in them to do with what you will. Obviously you can do whatever you like with the frozen tracks and softsynth. I've been banging my head against a brick wall about this and finally! I hope this is helpful for anyone looking to easily create multiple audio tracks from a softsynth.
