  1. Here is the URL of the latest version of my Visual Guide to creating Cakewalk Themes. (The title is a reference to Neal Stephenson's excellent SCI-FI Novel "The Diamond Age".) The document is a work-in-progress, and will contain areas where incomplete information is provided. If you identify an area that could use additional content to help your Theme creation, please let me know and I'll look at enhancing those sections. Have at it! 2. I've tried finding this in previous discussions but cannot. In 'Event view' and editing a single track, how can I my change the channel of multiples notes at one time rather than just each single note.
  3. The Reference Guide is such a great resource, for users novice and veteran, and as far as I know, the only way to get it, or even know about it, is to come to this forum. I suspect that a majority of new (and maybe veteran) users are not going to immediately come to the forum (if ever) once they run Cakewalk by BandLab. There are multiple helpful links on the Help menu, I suggest adding one that launches the user's default browser and goes straight to the Reference Guide. This way everyone will have access to a 1700-page book on how to use Cakewalk, not just those who venture to the forum.
  4. Hi all, I'm new in this Cakewalk by BandLab, previously using the Cakewalk Pro Audio (decades ago... >.<). I wonder whether this version of Cakewalk has the Event List view, because I've been searching for it but still no luck. Fyi, I'm using Cakewalk by BandLab version 2020.05 build 039 64bit. The Help Center told me there is shortcut to open the Event List view (https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036997613-Keyboard-Shortcuts), but I think the version I installed doesn't have any of it. Even though the Cakewalk Online Documentation has it (https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=4&help=Views.27.html), but maybe for different version I guess? Not found in track popup menu: Not found in Views menu: Could anyone please let me know where I can find it in the application? It is very useful feature to see/manage the MIDI messages. I really appreciate for any helps, thank you. With best regards.
  5. I have been trying to get to grips with more advanced audio editing functions but ultimately I often find myself not knowing what function it is I need and then have to search through quite traditional menus. It would be interested to know if there could be some more user friendly outcome based rather than process based pop up menus. e.g. if I want to match tempos/line up two tracks (I am struggling with this!) I select both tracks could it not just ask me in simpleton terms whether I want to do that, or x, y or z and then the software does the job behind the scenes (as it has all the tools to do it). Or rather than all the menus at the top and then the separate menus in the project itself. Could it be configured to have a simple "Timing" button and then it does the trick? This is just one example. Just an idea...I'm not a computer person really just a musician. EDT
  6. Hello All, I know that I am getting older because I am forgetting things now. Cakewalk allowed you to write notes under the Track Folder, but there was another location for writing memos and notes, but I can't remember where it was.. I want to do a better job of including documentation with each track.
