Hello guys. I would like to propose a feature that would allow the user to filter what functionalities/actions should be affected by the undo feature in cakewalk. This could be helpful on specific workflows that might require some of the undo features functionality; like a quick undo inside the console view or the browser tab. Thanks.

If drum replacer has an update, is it included already with the new cakewalk updates or do you have to download it separately? Thanks.

Hello, I have been following the cakewalk since version 4, and I really like its usability, it is very intuitive. you program it, I think it would be interesting to add a preview feature in the plugins tab. This feature was adopted by Studio one and cubase. I find it interesting and makes it easier to find the plugin. and it looks better. the sonar is already complete, and it will be even more so.

Hello guys. I would like to propose a feature that would allow users to sort plugins in the plugin browser. Category grouping is quite helpful but the sorting feature can also be a useful tool in some cases. Thanks.

You guys probably heard of TC Helicon Guitar Pro, Orange Omec Teleport, and the Hotone Jogg. All of these are audio interfaces that specializes on the guitar, giving the players the ability to tweak the tone, record, and return the signal to be played on an amp or headphones. So here's the thing, how are your experiences with these products (or interfaces that do the same - return the sound from a plugin/DAW in an unbalanced output i.e. guitar amp). Are these advisable for serious recording situations, and can these be used live (as an alternative to pedalboards)?

Hello guys. I would like to ask if there is a way to keep the maximized EQ panel for cakewalk pinned while selecting multiple tracks? Currently when you select a different track the maximized eq panel gets closed. It would be nice to have the option to keep it open while it automatically changes the eq corresponding to the currently selected track. Thanks.

Hello guys. This is my final version for the dark theme. I tried to recreate a darker theme but the combinations tend to become complicated especially when the theme editor has still some limitations when it comes to editability of some elements. The main changes made in this theme is the values of the strips are more darker and also works better with plain strips. AFUI DARK 3.1 Theme.sth

Hello guys. I would like to propose a feature that would allow users to enable a separate auto save file. This will be very useful in many cases especially in crashes or even when the user accidentally overwrites the original project, making it easier save the original by using the auto save recovery file. This feature is very useful in other softwares like blender, a 3d modelling software. I hope cakewalk would soon have a feature similar to this in the near future. Thanks.

Hello guys. I would like to propose a lock toggle feature that would allow users to zoom out the track view X axis & Y axis at the same time. Currently I bleieve you can only zoom out axis separately through hotkeys or buttons. This would be helpful in cases where users would like to have a better control zooming in or zooming out inside the track view UI. Thanks.

Hello guys. I would like to propose a feature that would allow the user to easily navigate the theme editor by including an actual reference of the theme UI. Currently the only possible way is to browse around the editor to find the element you want to edit. This is a great workflow already but this new feature would probably make it easier especially to those users who want to quickly select and edit a specific UI element. I am not to familiar with theme editor in cakewalk but I was planning to make my own flat theme. I am not sure if that is currently possible but it would be nice to have all the bevels, emboss, and shadows to be override/removed to have a flat UI. I am also currently having a hard time identifying if those UI element I have selected are the right ones. I hope it would be added soon if possible. Thanks cakewalk dev team.

Hello guys. I am not entirely aware if cakewalk already has this feature but it would be nice to have the option to multiselecting tracks to assign to one bus/channel. Currently you still have to select each track to assign it to a specific output. This is not an issue to smaller track projects but in large scale project with a heavy amount of tracks, multiselecting tracks to assign them to one output by only the right click property once would probably make everything much faster and easier. Thanks Cakewalk Dev Team.

I want to make mastering of piano music. These will be piano pieces. Each will last from two to three minutes. I will combine these pieces into the album. The album will have from eight to ten pieces. The finished recording will have only a piano - one instrument. After mastering I will upload the finished recordings to different music sites - this will be the only way to distribute these recordings. There will no be physical media - CD, DVD - in distribution. Next I will make new piano pieces. I will make budget from tasks solving. First - what I need to solve the task? Next - how much money I need for it. I want to build a computer for Cakewalk. I will use Windows 10 Home 64-bit. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I discussed "How much SSDs to use on computer for Cakewalk?" here: https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/topic/19334-how-much-ssds-to-use-on-computer-for-cakewalk/ Thanks to everyone who gave their opinions. I took into consideration. My main conclusion: I will use two SSD. First SSD. Disk C on it. On disk C - Windows 10 Home 64-bit, applications including Cakewalk. Second SDD. Disk D on it. On disk D - current project work files. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Next I discussed "Overclocked RAM or not for Cakewalk?" here https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/topic/19444-overclocked-ram-or-not-for-cakewalk/ Thanks to everyone who gave their opinions. I took into attention. My main conclusion: I will not use overclocked RAM. I will use traditional RAM: for example Crucial CT 3200 MHz, Kingston KVR 3200 MHz. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- At that topic abacab have wrote: At that topic I have wrote that I want to make mastering of piano music. Next I asked: abacab asked me clarifying question: I can describe how I want to do. I will do it in this topic. I agree with abacab: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, I want to make experiment: what way will be suitable for my musical art tasks? Some piano pieces will be in Rondo musical form. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rondo Some in Binary musical form. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_form Some in Ternary form. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ternary_form Some pieces will be Fantasia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantasia_(music) Some will be Scherzo. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scherzo Some pieces will be Waltz. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waltz_(music) Some will be Polka. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polka Some will be Romance. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romance_(music) Every pieces will last from two to three minutes. What is the best technical way for me to express my musical ideas? I want to fit technical requirements of musical sites on which I will distribute my music. For experiment I will use all variants you listed. I will use scheme: first variant - few compositions, second variant - another few compositions, third variant - another few compositions. Next I will analyze result and will make conclusion which way is suitable for me. Do I understand right way: Virtual Instrument piano in the box - it is VSTi? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_Studio_Technology
