Hello guys. I would like to propose a feature that would allow the user to easily navigate the theme editor by including an actual reference of the theme UI. Currently the only possible way is to browse around the editor to find the element you want to edit. This is a great workflow already but this new feature would probably make it easier especially to those users who want to quickly select and edit a specific UI element. I am not to familiar with theme editor in cakewalk but I was planning to make my own flat theme. I am not sure if that is currently possible but it would be nice to have all the bevels, emboss, and shadows to be override/removed to have a flat UI. I am also currently having a hard time identifying if those UI element I have selected are the right ones. I hope it would be added soon if possible. Thanks cakewalk dev team.

Hello guys. I am not entirely aware if cakewalk already has this feature but it would be nice to have the option to multiselecting tracks to assign to one bus/channel. Currently you still have to select each track to assign it to a specific output. This is not an issue to smaller track projects but in large scale project with a heavy amount of tracks, multiselecting tracks to assign them to one output by only the right click property once would probably make everything much faster and easier. After opening Cakewalk i get troubles with audio system. Cant hear any sound and for solving that problem i need reboot. I am beginner in using cakewalk, dont know how to deal with it

Hello. I would like to propose a feature that would allow the user to choose an option to make the mouse click respond to Mouse press instead of mouse release for click minimize/maximize track strip button. (Optional feature for faster program response) Thanks.

This is a feature request. Currently, "now" scrolls across the screen, and across fixed tracks, which can then jump periodically across the screen and provide on ongoing view of the project. I would love to see a fixed "now", let's say indented 10% from the left edge of the display (or ideally by some settable parameter amount), and have the tracks scroll past "now", instead of the other way 'round. It occurs to me that this may never have been added as a feature because of the CPU it would require, but I've never seen the code. Perhaps it is more doable than I know!

As title says, I'm trying to invert a clip and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but the phase invert button on the audio track strip does nothing I notice, and using the 3rd party VST RS Phase Reverse has also done nothing.

Hi guys, So my cakewalk crashes with the code c0000005 when I try to load a song, I opened it in safe mode and one track is corrupted, although there are several tracks of the same VST I used for that sound. If I would delete that track in safe mode, all of my fx would be gone, so how can I solve this problem? Thanks in advance! Lofi.cwp

hello everyone, a question when a new update for CAKEWALK 26 to 27 will be released, or is it not in the plans? I've been using SONAR since 4. I like its interface a lot, but some DAW in the market like cubase, Studio one has shown enthusiasts. I say no in terms of quality requirements, the cakewalk already has it. but in interface, more interesting speaker models, more colorful tracks, A Lighter, more intuitive style

Sorry it's probably a dumb question. I'm a total noob. There's a YouTube video that tells me how to get Cakewalk going, but once I start up Cakewalk, I lose the sound on YouTube. I did a capture of the video, but Winamp and Windows Media lost their sound as well. I get an error message "audio rendering error" or something like that, telling me to reboot my computer. Rebooting does not help. HELP!!!

Hi folks. I had to reinstall Cakewalk, in this turn updating it to the latest version (2020.09, Build 006, 64 Bit). Now suddenly all of my Waves Plugins are shown as being missing when opening a project in which they were used. Of course they are still installed. I tried to repair them, uninstall and reinstall them, delete the Cache in Waves Central, reinstall Waves Central - nothing helped. Strangely, when I delete them and restart Cakewalk it shows the notification of plugins having been deleted. When I reinstall them, new ones are added. So Cakewalk obviously scans and finds them. But I cannot see them in the list of plugins and they are not recognized by the projects. I wondered, if it might help to reset the Scan Options in VST Settings. But the documentation says, it will "remove all scanning records and settings from all your VST plug-ins". Does this mean, all presets in all VST plugins or the settings I made in my projects will be deleted? I wouldn't want to risk that.

i have some problem so i'm uninstalled the cakewalk and all the served addons and then, i'm download it again when download the cakewalk in the BandLab Assistant i can choose 4 addons but cant download the melodyne ( already checked in install box) (maybe, because it was downloaded before) but i don't need 30 day trial version ( if that is unlimited free, i have to fix my problem) so point is, melodyne, serviced in cakewalk is a 30 day trial version or unlimited free version? sorry for my bad English thx to read

Hey. Total newb question but can anyone help me in opening Serato Sample in CakeWalk? I'm brand new to Cakewalk and I actually managed to open it a couple of days ago after some frustrating clicking, but now I've got no idea how I did it and can't seem to open it at all. The program is shown under VST Instruments in my plug in manager, but not in my Plug ins box on the right. However, it is listed under instruments but double clicking on it just brings up 'soft synth options'. I know there's probably a simple fix to this but I'm stumped right now. Thanks in advance.

When I start singing on the mic (Nt1a) the beat comes through on both headphones fine (free online beat), but my voice recording comes through on just the one ear. Even when I playback the audio, my voice still comes through Only one ear. I tried watching a YouTube video to see if the volume still only came through one ear but it worked fine. So it’s not the headset. I have a focusrite Solo interface. Does anybody have the solution to this problem?
