From the Horse Latitudes album, pretty much rebuilt with some new parts and new tools. https://baselines.com/?p=6779 Cultures come and cultures go The world still turns It's a miracle that we're still here When anybody anytime anywhere Sets the world on fire It winds up on a viral video Insanity strikes and it hits us so quick We give voice to the crazy, the fringe lunatic And when the truth comes out and the suppression begins We've got to crank up the engine and roll down that rocky hill again. Desert fox and poison pills The monkey swings And his par-amour earns her wings The chambermaid makes up the bed and plays for time She prays that he will sleep in town tonight There's a book on the nightstand that the powers neglect With a gold plated emblem that the night lamps reflect And when the truth comes out and the suppression begins We've got to crank up the engine and roll down that rocky hill again.

If there is any doubt about UAD Windows plugins being worth it, I would have to say that in my opinion they are. I highly recommend the 1176 compressors, the Lexicon reverb and the Studer tape deck. This is what was used on Arrow of Time here. https://baselines.com/?p=6775

This is a song written by Paul Van Ness in the late 70's. I decided to cover it again because I always liked the flow of it and the sentiment. https://baselines.com/?p=6773

Here's a video I made a while ago. I just updated the music that went along with it. Our dog was named for the Rudy of Notre Dame fame. Our son went to ND and we took along Rudy for some photo ops when he was just a young pup. He's 10 now but still has the energy and right outlook on life, although Thunder still does him in!

My son helped me set up his video server at home and connect it to use my phone as a camera. In my back yard, a robin built a nest under my picnic table. I set up the phone to capture the videos that you can see below. I included my version of Blackbird as the music accompaniment. It wasn’t long enough, so I added in a reversed section in the middle to space it out. You can see close to the end that one of the robins was none too happy with the phone capturing his actions. He gives it the evil eye and then flies into it. Today, the nest is empty and the young ones are flying around.

This is a song by Paul Simon. It was the fifth single from Graceland (1986). It pains me to admit that I didn't know it was Linda Ronstadt singing on this classic. @kiwichrys sings magnificently on this one. Recorded and Produced at Baselines Designs (www.baselines.com) https://baselines.com/?p=5660

Bandlab's @kiwichrys performs vocals on this original tune. https://baselines.com/?p=5583 Lyrics If there are words you've never said before, tell them to me, and I'll tell you. Precious time is running out, while I'm watching... as I'm watching. Before you go. It's been a while since we've...held each others hand. I'll hold it now, as your eyes are asking why.... why this has to end. It breaks my heart. There's a doctor in the house, who wears compassion on his sleeve... telling everyone, that God is make believe. And every silence takes my breath, until the breathing starts again. When you open up your eyes, do you recognize my face. Seconds ticking slowly in the dark of night. Flowers scent the air, a reminder, of this world's friends. Tether's almost broken, pretty soon, you'll go. If there are words you've never said before, tell them to me, and I'll tell you. Precious time is running out, while I'm watching... as I'm watching. Before you go.
