  1. ok - I was looking for prices for Fabfilter Pro-Q (using this search term - fabfilter pro-q) typed into the first box on the left. Clicked the box titled "Include Products Not on Sale" Three items showed up. The first was showing a title of "Not On Sale" - I clicked on that box. That took me to the website of "Thomann" and the page said "The product FabFilter Pro-Q 3 is regretfully no longer available." Your page just showed me the product at $125. So when I came back, I though would it not be appropriate to be able to mark this as "Not Available" through the "Alert" button. It could be a checkbox that says "Not Available" and now users could not waste their time going to the site . . . Not a big deal . . . but would be usable. Perhaps checking the box (or whatever) could possibly change the "Not on Sale" to "Not Available" (again just my suggestion). I guess the point is that people would be getting this website whenever they click the item . . . Thanks, Syphus
  2. Alerts! Just recently, I was looking for a price on a plugin and I turned on the "Not on Sale" box. It showed one instance of the plugin (site) that was not on sale. I went to the site and was greeted with "no longer available". Perhaps you could expand your "Alerts" function to include a "Not Available" marker or such. It would be a nice "alert". Just an idea . . . Thanks, Syphus

  5. I don't know if they have predicable sales pattern, but I do believe they do go on sale. I have got ADpaks for $53 dollars . . . The forth is coming up - they may be doing a sale for the holiday. Also, I believe the just had a sale for 30% off all ADpaks ($54.40) in the middle of May . . . Syphus
  6. I was doing a search for the word "Chord" (I was looking for chordpotion) and I got a LOT of hits from the STORE ADSR for the same deal, same price The item was "Chords" - Price $19.95 - Manufacturer was WA Productions I think this is a bug in your search - I believe there should only be one listed with the above parameters. Thanks, Syphus
  7. Release notes for EZdrummer 3.0.2 2022-05-24 EZdrummer 3.0.2 is now available to download using the Product Manager or from the ‘My Products’ area in your Toontrack account. Please note that version 3.0.2 is required for the support of EZX expansion packs released from this point forward (Q2 2022). BUG FIXES General Adding or removing the plug-in in Cakewalk should no longer cause a crash. Grooves Tab The Bandmate button in Replace MIDI is now correctly disabled when the Bandmate is not active (has no input). Bandmate It was possible to play in the Bandmate after the source had been deleted. The Swing knob value was not updated when a new groove was selected. Known issues in EZdrummer 3.0.2 2022-05-24 General – Mixer presets from EZdrummer 1 are not available in EZdrummer 3. – On Windows, if display scaling is set to a value above 100% and EZdrummer 3 is used in a DAW, dragging MIDI to the song track becomes difficult.* Mixcraft – Follow host is not aligning the EZD3 song track with the DAW timeline properly in Mixcraft.** *An offset causes the MIDI to not land on the Song track correctly. A workaround is to turn off High DPI mode in the DAW preferences, or set the Windows display scaling to 100%. **Acoustica reports that this issue is fixed in the next major version of Mixcraft. They hope to release Mixcraft 10 late this year. A beta version of Mixcraft 9 that fixes the issue is available at the following link. https://acoustica.com/mixcraft/support/beta
  8. ok - I did a search for "auto-update" and did not find anything to say of . . . @Leandro Álvarez please explain what you mean about "Auto update". thanks Syphus
  9. REAPER 6.58: Now With More Phlogiston (pronounced - Flow-gist-ten) a substance supposed by 18th-century chemists to exist in all combustible bodies, and to be released in combustion. LOL
  10. How about maybe the track is not armed to record? Just wondering? Syphus
  11. Use Toontrack Manager to update: Release notes for EZdrummer 3.0.1 2022-05-18 EZdrummer 3.0.1 is now available to download using the Product Manager or from the ‘My Products’ area in your Toontrack account. Please note that version 3.0.1 is required for the support of EZX expansion packs released from this point forward (Q2 2022). CHANGES General In the File menu, “Import EZdrummer 2 Project…” has been moved up to just below “Open Recent.” Added high-resolution graphics for more buttons, etc. Grooves Tab In Tap2Find, “Quantize” has been renamed to “Resolution” and a “Swing/Triplets” header has been added in the menu. Bandmate The text has changed in the main Bandmate drop zone to emphasize that audio files with distortion, for example, may not produce optimal results. “Swing/Triplet” was changed to “Swing/Triplets” in the Filters menu. BUG FIXES General Loading the plug-in in Cakewalk could cause a crash. Pop/Rock EZX was not shown with the new graphics with larger background. The ride in Americana EZX did not look right at 70% scale. When an EZX is loaded and is missing drum graphics, an alert is now shown to inform that the EZX needs to be updated or reinstalled. In REAPER on Windows, it should now be possible to drag MIDI from DAW tracks (by holding ctrl+alt) directly to the plug-in. In Studio One, it was not always possible to drag audio (of supported formats) from DAW tracks to the plug-in. (PreSonus Audioloop/Musicloop is still not supported.) Trying to load an EZX (or a project that uses that EZX) which has no drum graphics (and thus needs to be updated or reinstalled) should no longer cause a crash. Song Track Recording MIDI while having the grid editor open caused a crash. Drums Tab When previewing an instrument, the first hit would sometimes get the wrong pitch. Previewing hi-hats from another library would sometimes cause a crash. Grooves Tab The e-drum preset indicator was never shown on third-party MIDI folders (those that have been installed in the same location as Toontrack MIDI libraries). Grid Editor The Humanize on/off state was not saved in projects. The Humanize on/off state was reset when a different EZX was loaded. When Humanize is off, the previous bar is no longer used as template for velocities when notes are inserted. Bandmate Trying to load broken/empty/unsupported audio files should no longer cause crashes. Custom song parts are now handled better in the Bandmate. Using the Bandmate with Latin Percussion EZX loaded could cause crashes. Dropping a new groove on the Drums track while the browser was searching could cause crashes. Changing the playhead position with keyboard shortcuts only changed it graphically. Dragging the Bandmate output groove out from EZD3 (to the desktop, e.g.) and then trying to load another groove in the browser could cause the text “Loading groove…” to become stuck. E-Drum Settings CC values were not shown unless explicitly specified in the presets. Now all mapped CC values are shown. CC values could be written as keys when they had been edited. Opening the menu for an articulation under Mapping and then clicking on a different drum or switching between Key and Note Number could cause a crash. Standalone When the standalone is started, if the main window with its previous position and dimensions doesn’t fit on the screen, it is now moved and resized as necessary. On Windows on a display with a scale larger than 100%, parts of the window contents could be cut off and menus would open at wrong positions. On Windows, it was possible to launch more than one instance of the standalone. Installer On Windows, the standalone was installed in an unexpected directory on some localized systems in some circumstances. On Windows, the installer will now detect that the core library is not yet installed and display a reminder. Known issues in EZdrummer 3.0.1 2022-05-18 General – Mixer presets from EZdrummer 1 are not available in EZdrummer 3. 12. Although this sounds too obvious: If the song was supposed to be 3:10 in length, why don't you check to see what the extra time is from. What I mean is there is something possibly causing the file to be longer that you expected. Don't forget that sometime reverb/delay tails can cause the extra time (if that is what is causing the extra time. As scook was pointing put, setting your "Selection" parameters for export will also save you that extra step of chopping the end off your file. Syphus
  13. I had this type of experience but here is what I found out: 1) IF the last track in the track view is a folder AND that folder is collapsed. Grab your track (that you want to move) with the double up/down arrows and move it below your folder and place the double arrow as far LEFT as it will go, then release. Your track should drop to the bottom and not be in the folder. 2) IF the folder is the last item in the track view, and the folder is expanded. The track indicator (should be a colored line) will indicate where it will drop. If it aligns with the last track in the folder - it ends up in the track. IF the colored line is aligning to the extreme left (of the track view) then is should drop outside of the folder. Set a dummy project and try these moves and you will get a hang for it. The second method is the most accurate for doing this. I think that it would be nice if the "track line" showed up when the folder was collapsed. I would have included some screen shots, but I must in a bit. I just tried this several times to be sure that what I saying above works - At this time I thing it is just a technique you have to get used to. Once you get it working for it does not seem to be a big problem. Oh, and if your folder is in the middle of you track view - watch the "track line" - if it aligns with the folder, it goes into the folder. If it touches to the far left, it sits below the folder by its self. Hope this helps. Syphus
  14. I did not know if that was the original title, it just seemed to obscure to help anyone searching for the same problem. I was not trying to be critical about it. Thanks for adding the "Beep" bit. Have a good day and I'm glad that someone could help you with your problem. Syphus
  15. I don't know what the original "Problem" description was on the @Bristol_Jonesey primary thread, but now it does not help anyone with the same problem - if they are searching for something similar. If you changed your subject from whatever it was to what it is now, you should have left it as was but just put "Solved" in front of the title. I just opened this up to look due to the "Subject" line. That is my opinion. Without a proper subject line this could get buried . . . Syphus

  17. Completely understood, but I just added the post for anyone that is still using win 7 so that they may have an answer as to why it may not be working correctly for them. I have installed other software that states that it only specs Win 8+ and find that most of the time there is no problem . . . Thanks, Syphus
  18. I am not finding this usable due to high CPU loading - It could be just my machine (laptop). But if I try to play a chord, CPU will go to 100%. Does sound nice when I can get it to play . . . Also - Still on Win 7. The specs say win 8.1 and up . . . I guess you can't use them all . . . . Syphus
  19. This is true, BUT IN THE OLD DAYS, I do not remember it happening so often . . . I'm just waiting for that change when it snows all summer and is hotter than Heck in the winter . . .
  20. I just fired it up to listen to it . . . It is from the film "Under a Cherry Moon". I live in Michigan and lately, It always snows in April. . . Syphus
  21. Ok. I personally would expect to use "Measure" coordinates (or what is reflected on the time line - you can reference H:M:S:F (SMPTE) or samples or milliseconds). SO I think that the deal would be what time reference you would choose between the corresponding parties (collaborators). Most time it would be "M:B:T" (measures) and that should be good enough in most situations. If you need finer granularity, you could use one of the others. But I digress . . . I would refer to the starting point as "Measure 1". The other way would be to just say "zero" if that is the target (01:01:00). The parties involved should agree that that is the terminology to use. Or say you were writing something as in directions for doing some procedure, just sate at the beginning what the reference point is. I know that this does not answer your question, but since there is not a real term (such as zero or wall), I would say Zero wins out as it is the most descriptive. Until Cakewalk changes (or offers as an option) a way of changing the starting point (measure 0 for instance) - zero is zero no matter what time standard you are using. That's my opinion - I hope that helps. If we were working together, I would expect "M:B:T" (Measures:Beats:Ticks) - That is the standard since the beginning of midi (Cakewalk). Syphus
  22. Or Measure 1. I would say it depends on the perspective or the reference. What do you want to accomplish? If you are trying to direct someone to return the "Now" Header - I would say Measure 1 (Or RTZ [return to zero]) If you are placing your "Now Header" to measure 1 - use Ctrl-Home or "W" If you are adjusting the "Track View" width, then you could say "Track View Splitter" What is it that you are asking about - I find the question a bit ambiguous because I'm not understanding what you are referencing. What I mean is are you saying where the pointer position is (as in measure 1.01.00) ? Or are referring to the layout of the track view windows (as in track, track controls or Track Inspector). I tried looking up your references to "The Wall" or "Zero". And I could only find "Zero" as in "Zero" would be Measure 1. Just curious . . . Syphus
  23. I'll give them a try and see what they say. - thanks
  24. I think that by having it available from the Web, it is a lot easier for them to keep the tool (sound, rhythms etc) up to date without the users having to reinstall all the time when changes are made. This also bypasses the need to worry what operating system the user has on their computer. Just a thought. Syphus
