I think we're getting this message because there have been no recent updates. Usually refreshes occur automatically on updating

I thought I would be able to resize by dragging the GUI at the bottom right but you need to go into settings and you get several fixed options for size - I was hoping it might be more flexible. Useful improvement all the same

Take SoundSpot for example...
Oh I didn't know they had gone - though their products were never that exciting

I have that - I updated from Sonar 8.5 LE that got with my Roland APro 800 keyboard. I was quite happy with that until CbB came along so could go back if needed and it still works with Win 11.
I'd prefer to upgrade to the new Sonar but it will only be worth it for me if it is under £100 as I am a hobbyist and only use on occasion -
@Noel Borthwick This is a consideration that should be taken into account in the new Sonar build to make it as accessible as possible - hopefully you already have it covered 🙂

To be honest, I expected that my account might disappear when Cakewalk did. I'm surprised (and happy) that Bandlab has kept it alive. I wasn't so lucky when Time+Space shut shop.
(To be clear, I'm not blaming T+S for their misfortune and have no ill-will against them.)
yeah that was really sad - I think I managed to rescue all my stuff I'd bought through T&S when I moved to my new PC and was quite relieved it was all registered at the software companies concerned. Though I'll never be sure......

Afraid so - and there's much worse happening! A corrupt and uncaring Government who see lining their pockets more important than looking after people - and don't mention Brexit!

Morricone's score for The Mission is my favourite. Love the film too even though I'm an atheist!

Oh, I love Uilleann Pipes!! I already have Dicky Deegan's and Ilya Efimov's, and also the fairly decent set in the Kontakt Factory.
For the real thing, has anyone here been to the Transatlantic Sessions shows? They go on tour in the UK in February each year to seven or eight venues. Led by Shetland fiddler Aly Bain and Dobro-meister Jerry Douglas with the top drawer of Celtic musicians (Phil Cunningham, et al) and including guests from UK and USA (and further - they had Tommy Emmanuel a few years ago). Anyway - Mike McGoldrick is one of the band and he plays U-pipes. These events are fabulous nights.
I'm a big fan of pipes of all kinds - I especially like bands featuring the Breton pipes! I've watched the Transatlantic Sessions on TV and also the live stream of it that they did from Celtic Connections. Great stuff - they recently repeated the early ones and I had forgotten how long they had been going for.

You have 911 posts.
If you are referring to my posts on YouTube I've been following Mike for several years now so that would hardly be surprising - I haven't kept count. In any case what relevance does that have?

Plus Mike has an account here and would post a response if he felt like doing so.
I'm sure he would
To be honest Mike has a large community following him so rather than 'clickbait' I'd suggest that many of these videos are aimed at those of us who enjoy his content. I even watch product reviews that I have no interest in buying just to see his take on them! I'm sure I am not alone in that.

I don't see him even hinting to referencing here.
No he doesn't. It was the title that made me think that not the content

Yeah I laughed out loud when I saw that and wondered if Mike had been here 🙂

Mike is a genuine guy - I've engaged with him a lot since beginning to watch his videos. In my opinion he has the most accessible and enjoyable Cakewalk tutorials I've seen ( there are lots of other excellent presenters too of course) and when he puts out videos like this he speaks from the heart. He is also very active in offering help on his Cakewalk related Facebook page.

I clicked on the download for the PC VST3 version when the message came up. Suspect it's a false positive but will wait a while to see if anyone else gets it

Got this warning from Malwarebytes - possibly a false positive but I'll hang back for the moment - shame as it sounds excellent!

I chose between Scan and Chillblast - I went for Chillblast in the end as a) my old PC built by them had been rock solid apart from needing a replacement CPU fan and b) they have a much better guarantee than Scan. They did overcharge me a bit for an additional 2Tb M2 drive that I specced but other than that prices were similar.
This was my spec
1 x Intel Core i7 12700 Alder Lake-S CPU1 x Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x 16GB) 3200MHz DDR4
1 x ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Dual Mini 8GB OC GPU
1 x Samsung 980 PRO 1TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD
1 x Corsair RM850x 850W Modular 80+ Gold PSU
1 x Microsoft Windows 11 Home Advanced
1 x Chillblast On-site Warranty - 5 Years (3 Years Parts, Labour and Callout, 2 Years Labour only)
2 x Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax.black.swap 140mm Case Fan in Black
1 x Noctua NF-S12A PWM chromax black swap 120mm Quiet Fan
1 x Noctua NH-D15S chromax.black Tower Air CPU Cooler
1 x Samsung 870 QVO 2TB 2.5" SATA III SSD
1 x Fractal Design Pop Air Mid Tower Case - Black
1 x ASUS Prime Z690-P WiFi D4 Intel Motherboard
1 x Choice DVD Writer Optical Drive
1 x Samsung 980 PRO 2TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD
Seems to work pretty well with very low CPU hit but my projects are mostly pretty lightweight - though a few were struggling on my old i5 with 8Gb RAM -
Wish I had seen this before the Coronation!

Very wise! I was going to wait but the old PC was on its last legs so went for it as my Win 11 laptop (nothing critical on there!) seemed ok! Then it all went pear shaped 😞 I'm not going to rush into any changes as hopefully MS will do an update that will sort before I get attacked by the Kernel Stack Monster!

That was my decision too - no issues so far. It seemed that the cure may be more risky than the illness!
