Hi all
Been having a frustrating hour or so trying to get my APro 800 Controller working more comprehensively with CbB. I've mainly tended to use the keyboard and transport keys previously which work fine but using the knobs and sliders is a different matter!
Issues so far:
APro 2 used to be the input port that worked now it appears to be APro 1
Can't get Sampletank 4 to Midi Learn control knobs on macros (or probably anything else but not tried)
Midi Learn will work with Komplete Kontrol (& other synths) but in some cases links one controller knob to several on screen knobs. When I look at midi assignment it seems to have assigned a group which presumably is why more than one is affected
Any ideas that would help me resolve any of these issues would be most welcome - I'm not too worried about it using APro 1 as the input port just puzzled why it has switched to thisThanks in anticipation!

Just downloaded these 🙂

I assume that if you have ST4 MAX you would have all the sounds that are in SE. I could be wrong of course but that would seem logical

I received lots of licences with this one.
Me too - they seem to relate to their free effects chainer and related effects
Edit - the installer installs the chainer & effects automatically!- 1

Thanks & kudos to Peter & IK for sorting my ST4 SE sounds out. Top guys!

Honestly that's automated so when we added SampleTank 4 SE it followed the same process as other sound content. We should have emailed folks and instructed clearly in any registration email but there are times where one may have missed or not been part of either/both of those. You could also contact the team and explain, they can take a look at your account and situation and see what can be done too. If you've done that, let me know the ticket number. If you have not, please PM your IK username and I or Ryan will take a look. Thanks!
Many thanks Peter - much appreciated. I've not contacted support so I'll PM you 🙂

Ah thanks - I didn't think about doing that - would ease the pain a bit but still annoying!

Just looked at downloading the ST4 SE sounds that I missed when I bought Total Studio 2 Max - appears the downloads have expired even though I have never downloaded them previously! Now I can understand (just) IK's position re charging to re download sounds that you have previously downloaded but surely it is a bit unfair to charge for sounds that have been missed and not downloaded previously? Any thoughts on this Peter? I know it is not a lot of money in the scheme of things but it's the principle!

Here is the ST4 SE instrument list including the new instruments. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/include/st4/soundlist/SampleTank_4_SE_Instruments.pdf
Thanks. I found that earlier and looking forward to hearing what I was missing 🙂

I'd loaded those into ST4 CS which I already had. I think I must have thought that SE was the same as CS!

I didn't realise I got ST4 SE when I got TS2 Max last time it was on offer but notice it is in my account. Even more sounds to audition 😨😱😊

Update worked ok here

I succumbed! As you get the money back in points it was a no brainer!
(What a pain of an authorisation system though!)

Very tempting - looks like a well thought out synth - though I'd probably end up mainly using presets 😉

Welcome back!

I'm downloading it now so hope it is unrestricted - appears to have some decent sounds

Thanks for letting us know - just updating to 2.0.2 🙂

You need to drag the instrument you want from that list to a track in the track view - it will then be assigned to that track and you can open the instrument interface by clicking on the keyboard icon that appears. Someone will be able to explain this better than me probably!
Have you watched Mike's series of videos here - I've found those the best to get started with

Me too - and the free BBC SO!

After a bit of late night tinkering I have solved the second point above myself - I had forgotten that I had to click on Act MIDI learn as well as use the midi learn command in ST4
Hopefully I may resolve the other issues but any help / advice still much appreciated!
