  1. Please help, I am desperate. I can load VST tracks into a sequence. When I play the external keyboard the instrument makes no sound. If I do a recording on that track and then play it back, the instrument sounds. My keyboards work on record and playback so the hardware is all good. I can use Sample Tank as a stand alone and it works. But wont work in Cakewalk. Does this make any sense to anybody?
  2. I did clean install on the c drive, no change. This all came about when I installed the Hammond B3X app from IK Multimedia. All VSTs, including B3X work on Sonar. Is there a way to do a "factory reset" on Bandlab. When I did the reinstall it looked the same as before. Projects were still there
  3. Agree that corruption is a good possibility. Tried a reinstall no changes. I am not running from the c drive but my memory is failing me on where it was before the reinstall. Sounds like something to try. Can't make it worse Thanks for the reply
  4. Bandlab no longer will load any vsts, including the ones that came with it. If I try to insert a soft synth track, they all show up in the list. Select one and nothing happens. No new track, nothing. They all work in my old Sonar version.
  5. When I hit record in Cakewalk the local control on the Nautilus midi setup page, gets unchecked. record and playback work fine. As soon as I close the sequencer, I no longer get sound from the Nautilus. I have to boot it to get it back. I tried a cheapy free sequencer and it doesn't do this. There must be a setting in cakewalk for this but I am at a loss as to what it could be. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

    multiple sound card

Has anyone ever tried to use more that 1 sound card? On the PC I can use 2 different soft synths, using 2 different audio sources, at the same time. Sonar Home Studio will only let me select 1 audio source. Is this even possible or am I barking up the wrong tree?
