  1. I did a search on this forum Zo and I found this old thread:
  2. I can crossgrade to Spectralyers Pro 9, from RX7 Standard, for $119,40 I'm not sure if I'll have anything different enough though. I use RX mostly for noise reduction. I tried reverb removal some times but didn't liked the results. Is the Steinberg spectral audio editing any better?
  3. The download links are in the License Keys tab, on the Windows/MAC links. They have an organization problem with the new site for sure.
  4. Thanks for the reports folks. Waldorf replied and acknowledge the problem. They sent me a voucher to buy again all the missing plugins for free, which I did, and I received new licenses on my account. Very good customer support from Waldorf!!!
  5. I like this company. They have interesting instruments and lately they are doing interesting FX plugins. And when they put them together in a bundle and sell for $10 or $20 bucks it's always a big bang for the buck. I'll get this bundle and I think all those will be very interesting to use with Voltage Modular via VST host.
  6. I opened a support request there. Fortunatelly I have all emails and serial keys saved.
  7. The My Waldorf link in the header does not work. You need to use the one on the bottom of the page. Also all my license keys are gone, except the one from my last purchase (Streichfett plugin) that I bought directly from Waldorf. The purchases I made from APD, Best Service, etc that I had previously registered on the Waldorf old site are gone. I hope this is only a temporary glitch.

Isn't this the same one sold by Plugin Alliance?
  9. I'm currently taking courage to dismantle my main computer and upgrade it with a new motherboard, CPU, audio interfaces, etc. I already have all the parts but I hate dealing with computer HW. In the end I'll have an i9-10900K system with 64GB of DDR4 RAM and a couple of RME cards. Powerful enough for all the latest audio tools I hope. There are pros and cons regarding the approach of putting everything in one single tool for sound synthesis. I like having this approach in a modular environment, where you can effectively combine everything the way you like. Otherwise I always have the impression that you are loosing something, as the tool have more capabilities than you can use at one time. And I agree Zo; most of the time limitations are a good thing to boost creativity.
  10. I broke my oath of skipping Arturia releases. In V8 they caught me with the SQ-80V. But that one I was patiently waiting since V Collection 5. This time they got me with this MiniFreak V. And this one I wasn't even wanting when there was the HW restriction. But ITB it's cheaper and don't consume studio real estate. And after looking closely it's a really good synth. More or less the same for the latest Korg Natives (Opsix, Wavestate and ModWave). I'll get them some day for the right price. Well... I lost a battle but I haven't lost the war yet. Let me think about the next synth that Arturia could include to caught me off guard in the next collection...
  11. The goal of this plugin is to emulate analog summing ITB and not a full mixer. For this goal the distortion/saturation of the console is the key element. IMO Waves did a great job here; I like the way the interface of this plugin works and also the sonic results. The only better implementation IMO is the Mix Engine FX in the Studio One DAW, where compatible plugins (like Softube Tape f.i.) alter the mix engine behavior seamlessly. But unfortunately not all plugins are compatible with it.
  12. I love this plugin. Already have it on my Diamond pack but an extra WUPed copy is welcome.
  13. I always wanted this. But they raised the price $10 compared to previous sale prices. I'll wait. Maximum $29 for me.
  14. This thing will be more interesting as a module in Softube Modular.
  15. This one will be difficult. The best I could get once was a cup of coffee with his less known cousin, the Dalai Lame:
  16. To keep it simple: stop buying things and start using things for the purposes they're bought to (a long time ago sometimes). I know. Easier say than do. 🥱
  17. I totally agree that sample based hardware synths are perfect candidates for sample based emulations (of course), especially if the synth is totally digital and the filter and other algorithms can be copied or recreated. But comparing those two offers I think that the PX apollo should cost a lot less since it has 3.39 GB of samples and the Voyetra V8 have 15.53 GB. I know that this dos not reflect necessarily the quality of the instrument but... almost 4x more sound material!!! Having said that I'll get the Voyetra and I'll pass the Apollo.
  18. I have the Claire Flute Virtuoso. Will this bring anything significantly different ?
  19. I corrected that for you 😉
  20. My upgrade would be $100 for adding Elka-X, GX-80, Lowdown, Sines and Miniverse. Also $20 per synth. But as much as I like Cherry Audio instruments I'll wait for $70 or less for this deal. OTOH I could not resist getting the Rackmode Modules for Voltage modular for $35: https://store.cherryaudio.com/bundles/rackmode-module-collection And also the HetrickCV Vol2 for $15 (I got vol1 for the same price in a previous BF): https://store.cherryaudio.com/bundles/hetrickcv-volume-2 That's what I call a Deal! The Rackmode bundle is also available as standalone plugins for use in a DAW but without the control voltages I think they would not achieve their full capacity as sound processing devices.
  21. Last year I bought a Roland System-8 synth and I sign Play4Life as a cheaper way to get lifetime keys for the softsynths I can upload (or plug-out in Rolandese) to it. This year I'll keep the keys for the new released Jupiter 4 and the Juno 60. I paid $199 for the subscription and those two keys worth $378. It's a way to add value to my System-8 purchase.
  22. Thanks to this topic I just purchased Total Studio Max 3.5 for the same price; a much better deal. So, at least for me, I'll have to deal with this sound libraries issues again.
  23. I know that. And because the sound libraries can be multi gigabyte in size is precisely why this policy sucks and possibly force us to make unecessary downloads.
