  1. While I do agree, theoretically, that's the only place you can post forum related stuff. In a more Discord power-tripping oriented setup, we'd be banned 7 times already for posting in the wrong place.
  2. Those Daliks have to stop with the drugs. Their children are malformed.
  3. It's not that they're missing. The brand new "right column" displays as a line right below the first post of every page. Apparently the forum layout can't properly consolidate that with the top banner and that ends with the page clipping the top banner to the point of obscuring the buttons that live up there, which happen to be the menu and notification buttons. I wish I could show a screenshot of how that looks but I cannot upload images from mobile for some reason. The message simply cancels as soon as the upload is done, then gets restored if you click the quick reply text box again. Deleting quotes on mobile is impossible as well, but this issue already existed before the layout change.
  4. That 1.6 GB also includes the data sets necessary for UVR to work. It's not an app tied to some online service.
  5. How? Time signatures and tempo changes are independent from the Arranger Track. After fiddling around with that a bit, I see what you mean. It's fairly easy to break, however. Here's what I mean. Here, I want a sequence that's 7/8, 9/8 then 5/8 twice. I do the time signatures first, then create the section. Then I start duplicating it so it repeats in this sequence. The first and the second do that, but... For some reason, the third one decided it doesn't want to do that. It only respects that if I duplicate the first one and only the first one. Sure, you could use Ripple Editing to do that and, while that does work, you're not safe from the same issue: Why did it do it right until bar 20, then it stopped working? Simply because I wanted to make the workflow faster and copied more than one section.
  6. I would calibrate my expectations better. Demucs is not night and day difference in comparison to Spleeter like that. You get slightly better vocal separation but it's still the same MusDB dataset with training limited to 11k, so the results are more or less the same in practice. The two mashups I made and posted here: Had their steam separation done with Demucs using UVR. I still had to do quite some work to on the second one because you can still hear some of the high transients of the cymbals and drums on the vocals and the first one still had some lead guitar bleeding into the vocal stem. I still went with Demucs because the quality of the stems was slightly better.
  7. Not really, as you have threads bigger than this where the right column thing doesn't show up.
  8. Nono. I am talking about Frequently Asked Questions.
  9. For the HuggingFace one it generates a video with the waveform. I think you can also have a wave file or mp3 one in the Collab version, but I only tested it momentarily.
  10. I think. I didn't express myself correctly. The sub form for forum related stuff is set to read only.
  11. It's very nice to not be able to see my notifications on mobile because the extra height added by the right bar (which becomes a section after the first post of every page) obscures the top section where those buttons are. And no, I can't show it because it won't let me upload screenshots on mobile.
  12. The most interesting thing about this song is...It was released in 1998.
  13. I did download this thing and I cannot get it to run. It just returns a bunch of JavaScript errors and whether you click yes or no at the prompts, you end with a blank screen. Since this plugin is essentially a slimmed down version of Facebook's MusicGen algorithm, you're better off using their Google Collab notebook or the simplified HuggingFace one. The latter is limited to 12 seconds of audio.
  14. There's a lot of cool stuff there. As for the Unfiltered Audio stuff, Sandman Pro also gives you a license for Instant Delay and Dent 2 also gives you a license for Indent 2. You also can't go wrong with the Elysia plugins. They are as amazing as their hardware counterparts.
  15. Well, the FR sub forum for forum related stuff is currently read-only.
  16. Personally I don't think it's reasonable to complain about complaints when they are the result of lack of communication from people who, based on the fiasco that was the introduction of the paid versions of Cakewalk software a short while ago, should've known better at this point. It is very obvious to you, the other moderators and BandLab. I don't think it's clear it isn't obvious for regular users because there are at least two confused posts asking about what's happening with the forums.
  17. While I do understand the comparison, I don't think you're gonna find a single engineer in the world that will deliver you a partially completed rough mix. Why can't they do all the changes they want to do somewhere else then add them all at once? That was what XDA did when they changed their forum layout.
  18. And yet, it doesn't mention the Brazilian viola caipira, which has 5 double strings:
  19. Likewise, sans the "nice color" part. On Desktop, the contrast ratio is so low you can't even notice the threads have multiple pages if you don't squint. using Firefox in both cases.
  20. Looking at the lazy logo, when are we gonna receive the news Bandlab is now owned by InMusic? Also, I'm finding a bit difficult placing the product as I look at it. Which service is it supposed to be competing with? Bandcamp? DistroKid? Regular Social Media? SoundBetter? BandLab?
  21. If you want a simplified version of its older brother, you can have a short demo of MusicGen on HuggingFace. It doesn't give you much control other than a description prompt and uploading a guide track or recording one using your mic. Generations are limited to 12 seconds. After some testing, I was able to break the prompts to the point it would insert bits from the reference track as part of the generated ones.
  22. The numbers thing also looks okay in my phone too. But I don't think requiring everyone to own a HDR display so the forum color scheme can have the proper contrast to be a good idea.
