  1. Hi folks, I have close to 100 songs I am working on in my Cakewalk projects folder. For now I am working on my 3rd solo album and would like to create a folder in the projects folder, to then create a separate folder for each of the 12 songs in the current album project. If I create the folder and sub folders for each song and then move the song projects into those folders. Will it all work alright or will I have a problem opening them?
  2. cheers. Appreciate it. Some parts of technology seem to have skipped by me. LOL
  3. Thanks, I'm a total numb-nuts then. LOL . I need to read the manual more I think. Thanks for the help.
  4. yeah you have it right. Each time I save the project I use Save as. Is that the problem? Should it just be save?
  5. Hi Folks, first time on here. I have had a problem for some time now when I save the recording in cakewalk I am working on. When I come back next time to open the song. I get a cakewalk message saying -file name already exists choose another. This is for many songs that I am working on and happens right after first save of a first time recording. So its not me saving a file with a name that already exists. I have to keep adding b then c the d to end of file to keep openiong and when I come back to a song I have left alone for a while., trying to remember which is which in the files is driving me nuts. Anyone know how to fix this problem. is it to do with auto-save by any chance? cheers Fergie
