  1. problem solved. was the audio interface.
  2. okay, found that they are equal and locked. any other ideas?
  3. completely serious, i cant see where to pull that up.
  4. so I've done all the trouble shooting I can do. I'm using a Aston origin mic focisrite scarlet solo interface, no preamp. dt 770 pro studio 80 ohm beyerdynamic headphones i have tried new projects new tracks different setting. no matter what i do. the left side of my headphones is much louder nearly double the volume. but only in cakewalk, I use audacity, or just youtube, the headphones are equal. i can just simply hold a note in a mono track for testing, no pan to either side, no fx, no wizardry and the left is just louder. again only in cakewalk. it plays in both sides, just fine just left is louder. I cant tell for sure but seems that my monitors (pre sonus somethings) are louder in the left as well, again only in cakewalk. I theorized at first in was because I was using input ONE/LEFT on my interface but then i put my guitar into the right input and same thing happened. its not really a big deal as i never pan anything, but I like the sound to be equal!
