  1. I added Xtressor and Neold Big Al and it throws up error using voucher code saying :

The voucher requires a specific quantity of products in your cart.
    Please check the voucher requirements.

    I don't understand?

EDIT: Sorry, Xtressor doesnt seem to be included. Although its on the landing page, its not under the sale section 🙄

Think I'll maybe just get the 5 bundle from AudioDeluxe and get UVI Model D free. Thing is...Fame and Stone Room and Sunset studios or whetever it's called. Aren't they just Impulse responses in different wrappers?

Pretty sure theyre a mix of algo and IR which makes them so good, I use Sunset all the time and now my chance to get Fame

Unfortunately,  I had the opposite response that you did:

"I’m afraid we’re not offering the individual purchases of either MIXROOM or BASSROOM to people who obtained a product freely. We’re checking and verifying orders to ensure this doesn’t happen. Apologies for any disappointment.

    Thanks,

    Tom Frampton "

Oh that’s annoying that they’d give discount for one user but not another. I own Bassroom and was hoping for same thing

Most of the prices are still the same, but the did change the SBC  ones which were $30 earlier today and are now $40.

When PA runs a sale and vouchers - I've learned that you always need to ask fast if there is something you want.  I've seen far to many removals of stacking, change in the sale, voucher set to expire.

Just like the Monthly vouchers were set to expire today - but were already expired this morning with the replacement of the $20 no min sale.

Ah shame and thanks for the heads up, should have pulled the trigger earlier but was on phone and wanted to demo when I got home. Don't give you much time! Annoying but lesson learned

  5. Zabukowski is totally legit but this is Nebula Setups 2 not Nebula 2. Nebula setups is just used for making individual DLL programs from nebula libraries, which if you have Nebula 4 is now built in.

This is totally useless unless you have Nebula 3 pro maybe?

  6. i've actually been waiting for Egoist to go on sale for a long time. Have it on the ipad and always fun, recently tried demo for desktop and had lots of fun, great for coming up with ideas. If anyone can list a coupon that works, please let us know!

YES! But I they updated it. I emailed support after I had the same experience with the freebie and got back a very "meh" and unimpressive response from them about it saying "well it's using neural routing" or something useless crap like that - which took them off my "developers to watch list" immediately.

Then I tried NeuralQ again a few months ago out of curiosity and it didn't immediately gobble up my CPU cycles like it did the first time around.  I didn't run it through its paces in a mix, but I'm hopeful they updated it.

I own Lochness, OptoRed and Model 5000 and like them all pretty well.   ... @tom  And NOW I'm re-curious about the Firechild again too.  Good to have alternatives. :)   (edit - I just watched the SnakeOil guy pan the Firechild but MixbusTV seems to like it.)

PS.  @Jan Schmitz I remember reading a while ago that the Dev of Beatskill wanted to create a top tier plugin brand with Tone Empire, but can't seem to find it  now.

There’s a good gearspace thread on the Firechild, some very respected members praising it and that’s what got me to try it. I got it at $19 which was the deciding factor tbh 😂

BeatSkillz plugins are pretty much universally hated.

They slapped some anamorphic GUIs on and thought of a less juvenile brand name and people are buying it. 🤦‍♂️

Don’t know who beatskillz are but I have Tone Empirw Firechild and it’s great. Love the mix of algo and convolution they used

As Brian said, getting in touch with Meldaproduction seems to be in order. If they sold you products that aren't working, why not give them a chance to make good on the deal?

If you have MAutoAlign and MAutoStereoFix, that suggests that you have a bundle or two. Swearing off the entire line, which includes many more straightforward plug-ins that don't include the same analysis and processing because you got poor results from those two of them seems like throwing a lot of babies out with the bathwater.

You're not getting acceptable results from their phase alignment tools. What does that have to do with the same company's compressors, EQ's, reverbs, delays and filters? Due to bundle purchases, I have 90 or so of their FX, but I only use a fraction of them because either I've found no use for what the other ones do or have similar FX from other manufacturers that I prefer.

Both of those FX do advanced, unusual analysis and processing independent of user control.

Meldaproduction's Achilles' heel is sparse documentation, specifically in the area of suggesting appropriate source material and applications. They rely too much on trial and error on the part of the user. I've said it before, even directly in forum conversations with the owner, Meldaproduction's plug-ins have always felt to me like I found an alien artifact with 1000 buttons and knobs, and I've figured out that about 5 of them can do really useful things. The rest of them can probably do other maybe even more amazing things, but I don't have a clue what those might be.

There's a lot of confusion around just what kind of source material MAutoAlign is supposed to be used on. It does really well with single instruments that are multiple mic'd, and material that's been mic'd with stereo pairs. For instance, when I mic an acoustic guitar with 2 mics, one pointed near the bridge and the other further up, MAutoAlign works great. I get a huge sound. When I apply it to my drum overheads, which are set up asymmetrically in a modified Recorderman/Glyn Johns configuration, I have to be more careful where I take the analysis from. I tried adding the kick drum and snare mics to the group and things got a lot less usable.

I only got MAutoStereoFix a few days ago, but it looks like it uses similar algorithms for analyzing phase. I'll keep an ear open for the kind of artifacts you mention, but if I don't like the results I get with it, I'm not going to bench my remaining 89 Meldaproduction FX. I'm suspicious of FX that run on any kind of autopilot, like iZotope's "assistants." It always feels like I've turned part of the mix over to someone else and therefore have to listen closely to the results to make sure they didn't screw something up. So I use MAutoAlign sparingly.

I own about 7 of their plugins and still use utility ones. Auto align I had to sell. When you use it, listen carefully to the hats and OHs and you’ll hear the added artifacts, I have a feeling it’s to do with spectral processing

Like all of us, I have other plenty other plugins and don’t feel I’m missing out by leaving Melda behind, just wary of devs who try and tackle every known processor out there instead of specialising in a few
