  1. Yeah I have this and like it. I love the idea of a midi sampler to rival an audio sampler and this is the only thing I have like that but it has its quirks. Unfortunately when you edit one midi sample slice it affects all others, which means it can knock out timings, etc of other slices. If it could do slicing up of an existing midi file and then each slice be independently manipulated, this would be fantastic. I wrote to developer and asked about this and they said they'd d consider it for v2
  2. But for that price I might as well just get a boog poly D 😬
  3. I’ve had so much trouble with these monster synths. Had falcon for a year or so but although super powerful, I just found it way to unintuitive and sold it. Demo’d Halion for a long time but crashed all the time. VPS Avenger was by far the most fun but also that had tons of crashes and was just too flaky. Ended up impulse buying MSoundFactory on an intro buy and it’s by far the most complicated plugin I’ve ever used when trying to tweak 😂 I’m screwed.
  4. I mean you can lay out song structures in Ableton of course but yeah Reaper is lean, handles Acustica Nebula really well which is why I prefer it.
  5. I spent 2 years lost in ableton session view, endless ideas, no finished songs. That’s the danger of it. 🥴 Back to Reaper where I can lay everything out in a song structure from the start. I bought serato sampler to fill the Simpler gap and it works great
  6. Are we likely to see more sales on toontrack over Black Friday or is this 40% off packs the best we’re going to see? I’ve decided to go for SD3 and trying to figure if I should wait for more deals
  7. Thanks Larry, I’m in UK so price showing as £50 so I’m better off with Voxengo I think. Exchange rate prices rubbish these days for UK buyers
  8. This is now $53 on voxengo , I’m very tempted. Cheaper anywhere else anyone know? JRR still $68 with group buy code EDIT: Sorry! Messed up somehow, added Teote to basket but it was another plugin in there when checking price again 😳 and so actual Teote price is $71. PluginBoutique looks like best option
  9. Yes I got email but I think upgrades can get even cheaper over Black Friday? Especially at discounter sites.
  10. Very true, not long ago I paid £179 to upgrade to 10 and have barely used it. Now I have to upgrade again to make the thing sellable I guess. Hmm
  11. I had my copy of suite 10 for sale on KVR but pulled it because of comping. Have joined beta programme to see if any good. Also I’m not going to be able to sell it for the price I wanted as not worth as much if 11 coming 😭

    Acustica Cream 2

    Love Cream for vintage tones!
  13. I own True Iron but I guess these bundle discounts don’t consider plugins already owned which is a shame
  14. Yeah I’m very interested too, saw in 2016 that Superior Drummer 2 had a 70% off sale but can’t see anything for SD3. Have there been any? I think I might have to go BFD as £300+ For SD3 is too much for me at the moment
  15. Aberrant DSP SketchCassette, new version 2 and on sale at $20 love this plugin, super fun cassette tape shenanigans. EDIT; New compressor upgrade is really great on drums! https://aberrantdsp.com/plugins/sketchcassette/
  16. Would like to know to, just bought a td9 to mess around with. Seems like a great price
  17. Just place in cart and checkout
  18. I have MSoundFactory (full paid version) so thought I could use this but yeah, there’s no actual way to access it except in edit mode as some kind of oscillator source or something. Waste of a 60gb downloaded. I’m selling my copy if anyone interested (£149 inc transfer fee). I’m done with this MSoundFactory, way too complicated and unintuitive to use!

    SSL Halloween Deal

Oh great! Always thought Native meant ProTools only 😳 Saturator looks very interesting

    SSL Halloween Deal

    Are these Pro Tools only?
  21. Great thanks (yeah meant with Neural sorry), will try Nolly
  22. What’s the best amp to buy for good distortion but not metal, more alt rock crunch?
  23. On some plugins, the previous versions sound different, i.e Navy is different sounding between v1 and v2 and so some might prefer earlier. Mainly though it’s to keep backwards compatibility on older sessions. On most, the sampling has stayed the same throughout versions so same sound, it’s just techniques and optimisation improved

    Acustica Audio Camel

Giancarlo just announced on gearslutz that he’s completely overhauling the license transfer system to make it easier and cheaper to transfer. Amazing news!: “Moved by these requests and these observations, today I called an emergency meeting and involved the whole team. We came to the conclusion that it is not right to wait until next year to have a solution, and I was promised to have a completed development before the end of the year. The idea that we came up with is to allow free movement for a finite number of licenses for each person before moving on to the classic mechanism. Next year, instead of deleting this system, we will extend it by replacing the previous classic mechanism, allowing for real trading on our marketplace, with the lowest possible fee, and it will have nothing to do with the one we have now. But the mechanism I am talking about would allow you to solve immediately the sale of products that you are not using, WITHOUT ADDITIONAL COSTS. I talked at length with everyone and convinced them of the need to have a finite number of licenses with a free transfer and WITHOUT costs. Acustica goes from having the worst method of having the best method!“
