  1. I’m frivolous with my time. I’ve been ‘retired’ about 30 years. Raised my son, got unemployable aged and moving too much. Music is part of my life always has been I don’t do anymore than I used to. In fact at this point I do less ( recording wise). I do play live (online ) quite a bit nowadays.

Sorry, but everyone should delete their profiles there!

I've not had anything Facebook related on in years. I stopped using it, and have zero regrets. I use nothing meta related at all.

Stare at it now while it's still clean!  'Cause this is what will happen after you play for a bit!  😁

Lol, I hear ya!. I’m reasonably good at cleaning. Those rubber pads got nasty quickly on my old td10 back in 2001 I remember :).

  4. And now the real fun begins. I discovered I hadn’t installed the hihat fully with the securing clamp for the lower part. I have to say it’s very close to a real hihat in feel now. Need to definitely make up my own kit. BT1 percussion bar is going to be my cowbell or whatever going forward.  I need to make hihat play a mini tambourine on close a little rattle on play velocity.

  5. While I was on a Mac I had full set of newer Mackie MCUs. Each update to either OS X or Logic ProX meant they started playing up. I sold them. I bought a  Behringer X-Touch and got that working 100% all the time no matter what!. I loved them when they worked but they just were too fickle for me. Old stuff now as was said.

  6. I’m in the middle of a house move. I was going to get a portable drum room, but, in rental property from the 18th century, you’d still hear my acoustic drums. In addition, big cost very little chance of a return.., so, same cost… this!!

I’ll post again when all set up.

    cheers

  7. I have mixed feelings about this. Strongest about negative is to pay for a number of plug-in fixes… that’s definitely not right. I love quite a few of my waves plug-ins, but, time to replace them with stuff I always own and or similar things that update without wup.

I am not surprised as they always seemed to have the flakiest license management system. They use parchment and an abacus apparently.

100% agree!!. It’s what drove me to sub honestly. Clever marketing that is imho…

thanks for this, just got me Brainworx bx_console AMEK 9099 :)

That’s what almost got me too :). Bad exchange rate with 20% vat kills the deal for me right now too. Great purchase there!.

Some games are better played with a controller. You a real gamer, you'd know that!!

Sonic games on PC are best played with controller.

I play Destiny 2 on my PS5. This Wolfenstein feels more controller type. I've been playing PC games a LONG time :).

They got ya, Tony, they got ya.

Yes they did. And I’ve saved a lot of money from the old way. And I get to use what I always use. And if for some reason I can’t afford in the future to sub, my current advanced ownership is fairly current. No regrets so far.
