  1. Since I moved back over to only using my MacBook Pro. The mega PC was a pita with Jamulus. I am now in Studio One Pro 6 as main still, songs moved over no issues. Logic Pro X 10.7 and Cubase 12 Pro. Each have had a fair number of years from me dating back to the 90s for Cubase. Still a shame CW is not on Mac, because of course I had used that since twelve tone days :).

  2. And, the final?, layout. I was over reaching for the Alesis. Now it’s a natural placement. In my vision of expanding my kit I overlooked a major issue that reared it’s head too.

My 12 inch Tom 4 and my China placement extra cymbal had been plugged into the loom correct places. Tom 4 completely ceased sounding the head and as a result I bought a new skin and was about to replace cone… also that cymbal was a bit squirrelly.

Both are now plugged directly into the TD50x and the issues are no more. Important lesson, don’t use the supplied sockets on loom from Roland!!. Sheez

  3. Time for an update?. Well I’ve added a little and tomorrow my Alesis Strike Multipad is coming. Wide angle photo alert, makes my far right 10in look 12in lol.

I’ve reached a point where the Roland kit is properly engaging the player in me. I can tweak it more yet, but general consensus is it sounds great.

I can't even start it, guess it's time to uninstall and get newest version again... I was sure I updated to previous OSX... the joys of developers being behind the Apple dev cycle :). Thanks.

  5. Sorry to necro this thread guys and gals, but I just recently discovered the website for Finalizer is gone too. And, my installation of the app on my now Monterey OSX Macbook Pro no longer works... TC Electronics may have stealth killed this off...

I remember looking into Sphere when it first came about. Does Presonus regularly come out with new content ( instruments, effects, soundpacks, etc. ) to make it worthwhile ?

For me it’s more about paying overtime less (including bits) and not worrying about it. I’ve been on iZotope sub a couple of years now too, that’s definitely saved me money!.

I am very tempted by this. The Padgham kit I have for BFD is OK, but...

The Thomann price is £140 in the UK due to VAT.  I may wait but new SDX don't go on sale for ages after release.

    Yeah 133usd.. wth..
