  1. I’m not sure. I would probably record the audio with the korg . Then I would insert the Leslie in the tracks FX bin. Then I would record the mod wheel moves for the Leslie off and on switch or just mouse them in.
  2. I have had Melodyne cause several lockups. It is a recommended procedure to bounce your clips after you have edited a region with Melodyne. I always bounce as soon as I finish with a region. Also, I do not do too large of a region. Usually one phrase or les. It would be about 4-8 measures.
  3. When you first add a plug-in. The very top choice is to choose which layout to use. Sort by category, vendor etc. That is where you choose your custom layout. Be. sure you choose your layout here. Also, you can look at Preferences folders and see where cakewalk is looking for plug-in layouts. Then you could copy that path and use file explorer to verify you have saved yours there.
  4. Just set up a midi track in cakewalk and set the Korg to that channel. I usually just record the midi. It will contain the midi notes and the cc data. I haven’t don’t it with waterfall, but other B3 Emulations just use the mod wheel for Leslie off and on.
  5. Select all then click CTRL you should be able to drag the whole thing. The shift key will keep in the proper time alignment.
  6. I had something like this with Modo bass. I was told to try 40 ms in BounceBufSizeMsec=40 You might need a different number but this number seemed to work well with missing/gapped audio bounces/track freezes
  7. Thanks I haven’t looked inside, but I have been looking for a K2600 ins for a friend. Thanks from him too!
  8. I had the same problem. I sent eventide an email a couple of days ago. I thought they would have answered by now. +++++++++++++++++++++++ Found it!! ANSWERED The VSTs have too many folders deep. Move them up to the main plug-in named folder like - put spliteq in the spliteq folder. Be sure to rescan the plug-ins.
  9. Oh I got it free too. Didn’t know you could use it for reverb removal. I’ll try it tonight. Thanks for the info!!
  10. No, but you can put treble clef notes in a bass staff. They are nearly impossible to edit in the staff view, but can easily be edited in the piano roll view. The other option is to add another track.
  11. You know perhaps that should be a feature request….. press a button and all the settings pop into a text file. That sure would be handy to help people with setup problems. There are so many things that can throw off even seasoned vets much less new users. New settings are even added to the configure file.
  12. I didn't see anything that would keep cakewalk for sending audio to your sound card. 1) You don't get sound on the Alesis from your speakers or the headphone jack right? 2) Do the meters light up on the Alesis when you press play in Cakewalk? These are the differences in my settings and yours-> AUDIO Devices - look good Driver Settings - look good - You might try higher Buffer 128 or 256 if the computer is occasionally stopping or stuttering (This might eliminate problems with larger projects) Playback and recording This won't help you get sound, but it is a good idea. Remove DC Offsett During Record Configuration file - Neither of these will help make the sound work DropoutMsec 512 BounceBufSizeMsec 40 Sync and caching - This might make a difference, but probably not. You could try these. Maintain Current Clock and wait for time code Playback I/O 512 If none of these work, go to Views / Console Please screen capture the entire screen Be sure to showing the Speaker 2 out and the Line (2- USB AUDIO CODEC) I guess till someone figures this out, you could plug your headphones into your laptop and monitor from there. By the way - Very nice piano!
  13. I am auditioning Clarity Vx DeReverb and Clarity Vx DeReverb Pro because of the great sounding demos. It works pretty good, but I am unable to get anywhere CLOSE to the amount of reduction I heard on the demos! Has anyone else tested Clarity Vx DeReverb or pro? Also Testing Acon Deverberate and Accentize DeRoom Pro2. Any ideas about these? I already have RX 10 Deverb (Below Average) Zynaptiq UNVEIL (Good but hard to tweek and over priced) SPL De-Verb Plus (only good for a small amount of reduction - good for the price when on sale) I also have couple of freebies non worth mentioning. I have a large collection of live recordings. Many have quite a bit of early room reflections, and some have huge amounts of reverb. Trying to decide if any of these work better or are worth adding to what I have. TIA
  14. Could you please screen shoot your audio preferences screens-> Devices Driver Setting Playback and recording Also, a screenshot of one track like vocals that you can't hear. Open it so that the input, output, volume, gain choices can be seen. Also, part of the track that shows that there is audio data on that track. These will tell help a bunch in solving the problem.
  15. I have the UAD, but I never installed it because the IK is so good. Ok, I'll try to put it in tonight and try to compare. The IK is a tiny CPU intensive, but I have a 12 year old computer. I think most people that have IK paid 2-3x this price.
  16. What you hear comes from the settings under audio preferences. Please screen shoot under audio preferences -> Devices Driver settings Playback and Recording
  17. A midi file has no sound in it. It is only the data to drive a midi device ( midi keyboard or midi soft synth. ) You will need to insert a soft synth to hear the data without your keyboard connected. You should have several to choose from on the insert menu. It is in the top bar of cakewalk. The other option is to record the audio data from your keyboard. I usually like to record both.
  18. I have to agree. It is the best you can get right now. As far as I know, it is the only official B-3 VSTi that has been “Hammond” approved.
  19. Thanks I’ll check it out. Well I don’t have that one lol!!
  20. Yes, I prefer takes in a folder. Although I really do love the comping feature. I usually do takes in a folder on all but vocals. Comping is just too good to pass up for vocals!!
  21. “I own about 7 or 8 DeSSers, no single one is "best" every time. “ Yes and stacking different one works sometimes too. Not to brag lol - I have 24 in my deEsser folder. That’s beside the point. I have several live flute sessions that were recorded with a U87 into a Millennia media HV-3d. This combination it so clear you can hear ever nuance. I think I actually heard a mosquitos in the neighbors back yard lol. I am trying to find one that will knock down the tonguing at the beginning of the notes. I don’t want to clip gain 50 songs. Because the mic was too close, some notes are explosive at the start. I have tried a bunch of plugins, sooth2 compressors, dessers, to help fix this!! It is like a harsh “ch” or a “t” in a vocalist singing. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Unfortunately ReRecording is not an option. Thanks
  22. So which one do you like best?
