I have the exact same problem. My midi keyboard is AKAI LPK25 and it does not have an on and off button

If so many people (including myself) is having this problem, does not this indicate a bug? I've read through this whole thread and I'm not confident enough to mess around inside the dos command prompt. Still hopeful ;-)
