I was having a similar problem with a drum track. I had multiple take lanes (hats, kick/snare, etc.). Then I reached a point where I couldn't delete individual events, couldn't flatten comps , and couldn't bounce to clip. I finally fixed it by selecting all the clips for this track, right-clicking and selecting Unlock Clip Data.
