  1. I found it! Apparently all the files that I had ever opened and saved in CbB - the audio driver selection changed from ASIO to something else. The files at issue are midi only, using an external midi synth. I thought that the audio driver preference was a Global setting, but the selection is indeed different in old vs new files. This driver selection was "switched" to the first driver pulldown menu selection available with my upgrade to v2020.05, still present after my upgrade to v2020.08. Thank you for the help!
  2. The saga continues... After some "accidental" experimentation, I found that my Tempo Ratio Control shortcut key bindings are working properly with old projects that I have never opened and saved in Cakewalk by Bandlab. My previous version was Sonar X2, but I also used Sonar v8PE alot. So perhaps in recent CbB versions there's an option that was switched to a default that unintentionally conflicted with & disabled the Tempo Ratio Controls. Maybe? Also, how do I determine if the Audio Engine is running, and how do I turn it off if it is? Any ideas? Thank you!
  3. Thank you. Yes, I've been through all this before and all those conditions are met. I should have mentioned that I checked all that. Any other ideas? BTW, I'd sure like a feature that would allow Tempo Ratio Controls to be compatible with VST instruments. I'd be able to miniaturize my studio further without the external hardware. Thank you!
  4. I recently upgraded to Cakewalk version 2020.08 (build 100). Corroborated with several other users on a Cakewalk Facebook support group, this new version has disabled some of the shortcut key bindings. Although the bindings are still shown as established, and new bindings can be created with no problem, some of the shortcut keys work and others do not. My issue in particular: The Tempo Ratio Control buttons are VERY important to me. I’ve set up Cntrl+1 as Tempo 1, Cntrl+2 as Tempo 2, and Cntrl+3 as Tempo 3. In addition, I’ve added a shortcut for each that includes the Shift key as well, which then opens the dialog box to let me change each Tempo Ratio. The new Cakewalk version seems to have disabled these shortcuts, or perhaps disabled the Tempo Ratio Control feature. Does Bandlab need to correct this as a bug? Or re-enable Tempo Ratio Controls? Or is there anything can do to recover these shortcuts?
