I created this video for Cakewalk Piano Roll to help out people beginning there Cakewalk journey... Hope this helps... I have included time stamps so you can find what you need.

‘Duplicate Selected Clip(s) as Linked Clips’ command To duplicate the selected clip(s) as linked clips, press CTRL+SHIFT+D. I dont understand what is this suppose to do... I just seems like the same duplicate that was already in place. Am I missing something here?

+1 I have been trying to figure this out as well. It would be nice to be able to change a sample like you would change a vst. If I didnt like the kick I laid down I could just replace the kick without having to redo the whole pattern. This would help me alot.

I made this video so that you can use some good vsts with Cakewalk all the links to the vsts are in the description of the video. Hope this help people looking for free vsts to use.

I have been trying to bounce an arp to clips in this early release and it will not work... I am not sure if it worked for an earlier build but it can be duplicated in the 2021.04 early release. I have tried 3 different vsts and the same issue is happening I put on the arp of the appended track bounce to clip and nothing happenes and it turns off the arp. I have tried Kontact, Sampletank 4 and SinePlayer all do the same thing with the bounce to clips when I use the arp function in the midi channel of the track. When I create a new track same instrument it will do the arp and bounce correctly but appended tracks will not bounce to clips to add the arp to the midi. I did a video demonstrating the issue. I hope this can be resolved. Thanks Bakers

@John Vere that a good way to do it if your interface has that feature.. But not everyone has one that does feedback loops.. This is way that no matter what you have It should work one way or another just trying to help where I can.. Thanks for the comment..😄🙏

Sorry guys are having so many issue with this.. It was a headache trying to load all the stuff I had to use the licence that it comes with was a pain.. And it said it was out of date and I just downloaded it again finally got it installed it came with all the sounds not sure why you didnt get them @JoeGBradford the only additional ones I got was the guitars and the glockenspiel if you didnt get all the sounds I would suggest to redownload it.. I know its a pain but you might have to do it..😄

Im on version 2021.01 build 098. On Windows 10 I no longer have an option for Loop Construction in views or when I double click the audio file. Not sure what happen to it? Has anyone else been able to duplicate this or was it removed for some reason? I looked through the changes in this update but I did not see anything that said that Loop Construction was being removed. Hopefully this was a mistake and can be added back or even updated to work better with Cakewalk. Let us know what's going on at least....🤔
