  1. I wish I had your imagination. The rhythm is pretty consistent, unusual for you. This is an a-side song.
  2. Oh, you've been to Portland....
  3. Unusual lyrical meter. Liked it a lot. Were you using ducking on the lead vox, just curious?
  4. Sassy. like it. Makes me want to drink again.
  5. Reminds me of good times. The horns could come up a tad. Like your song alot.
  6. Do you write pseudonomously, or is jesse screed your real name? Poor poets suffer so. I hope you're ok.
  7. Omg so edgy. Being a romantic, I can relate to these lyrics. Your work is conistently great. You should play these live!

I don't know how you get such great performances with internet collabs. The sax and guitar lead play off eachother nicely. Also, I like how the melody is clearly laid out and not hidden behind too much chromaticism. Everything sounds great!
  9. Thank you markno. I appreciate your ears.
  10. You just need Andy Bell singing about heart ache and you'd have a hit (erasure). Or is this a parody of pop music? It's different from your other stuff, I like it!
  11. I love your voice on this. you should make a video,,, to see this one in a visual narrative.
  12. I'm a big beatles fan as well. I want to hear it with the missing bits if you remember them.
  13. Thanks for the kind words makke.
  14. Well, it's not an orchestra steve, it's just a wind quintet but I agree my recording chops aren't first rate. I think what might be holding back the uncanny valley effect from happening is my choice of reverb. It sounds artificial. I have much more respect for wind players. It's very difficult to get the right dynamics. Thanks so much for taking the time to listen to it.

  18. Everything sounds good. Enjoyed it.
  19. Flute and harp, so magical. I don't think there's a lot written for them. You captured the essence of good harp playing too. Do you play?
  20. This is my favorite kind of cover...where you put your own stamp on it. I had never understood the lyrics until now. good job.

    Half moon

This shows a lot of invention! Gentle on the ears, where one doesn't have much thinking involved.. Me favorite. (not black sabbath!)
  22. I loved seeing the cliffs of dover coming across the channel. We used to camp on top of them. Where are your chalk cliffs? Tune is gentle and nicely evolved.
  23. Glad you liked Douglas. Thanks for listening. It means alot.
