  1. Reminds me of tv show theme, maybe. Love the sanbornesque sax .
  2. nice song. At least that part of our lives was happy. :D:D This is my 666th post!
  3. I liked this Pcode. What did you use for the ostinati? I'd change up the chord progression a little more, maybe a modulation here and there. The solo instruments and voices sound amazing.

This reminds of something danny elfman might write if he were to do this type of thing. Really enjoyable, and humorous. HS thanks for the info on Michael Cotten.
  5. Finally someone writing positive things again. :D:D I like the nod to 60's singer songwriters here. Well done.
  6. Love this. I hear Ozzy Osbourne screaming over this music. Stealing angels would be right up his alley. Do you have the lyrics?
  7. Daryl, I'm honored that you chose to listen to my song. I'm glad it didn't disappoint you.
  8. Max thanks so much for the careful listen and remarks.

Love this genre, and you do it perfectly. EZ listening? We used to have a radio station that was devoted to this kind of instrumental ez listening (KINK--Portland has the most strip clubs per capita in the country). But Earl Klugh and other guitar gods all do it at times. Growing up I listened to Tony Mottola, and Charlie Byrd etc they were some of the first.
  10. Tom I really gotta listen to more adrian belew. Thanks for the thumbs up!
  11. Ooh a double listen, thank you so much Lynn.
  12. Bapu remember when you used to hear the words *robust* and *at the end of the day* well now it's postmodern jargon like *intersectionality* and *nuance.* Basically, their meanings are determined by the surrounding *narratives* or *alternative facts* or *con-texts. *(air quotes) Anyways, I didn't mean it seriously :D:D Music is so subjective. Thank you for taking the time listen to it.
  13. Pleasant listen, fred. Made me hungry for some reason. Had a european touch to it. Are you european?
  14. Nigel, Thank you for listening. David
  15. Freddy, I always worry when someone says always...:D:D but seriously thank you for taking the time to listen and compliment.
  16. The way to a guitarist's heart: compliment him about his tone. Thank you jessah.
  17. Thank you for taking the time to listen wookie.
  18. Noynekker, thanks so much for the nuanced listen to this piece. Nuance is sorely missing from our world these days. Also, thanks for the tip about the 2-5k range. I did have a version that was wider staging and different dots here and there, but I think I like the sparseness of this version; it's easier to imagine a live band playing it. I realize the bass part could use some monkeying around with. I'm no jaco....:D:D Thanks again!
  19. Lyrics are so visual...(esp with that big blue eye that says devine lie) I love all your songs: just on the edge of familiarity enough to give one chills. Keep it up nigel. :D:D
  20. John, I was familiar with Adrian but not the specifics. I'll definitely look up *desire caught by the tail.* Thank you for taking the time to listen.
