  1. Yes lots to like here, the presentation is really professional,. It reminds me of the music that used to be piped into my dad's office. The melody is great and it's not obfuscated by a lot of stuff.
  2. Thanks to you all for listening. Noynekkar does have a point about the drum that comes in with the 60's style organ. The theme it's playing is a variation of tubular bells, but the instrumentation sounds kind of anachronistic (?) Maybe too distracting.
  3. Wow, what a production. I especially liked the jesus with antennae on his head. it all jelled really well. And all the great colors, what can I say? Is that bezier masking? I'm just starting to get into the video thing.
  4. ya If you listen to their *buttons* or *bumps* they are highly imaginative. I listen to NPR all day btw (at work).
  5. This is from wikipedia: Bumper music, or a bump, is a term used in the radio broadcasting industry to refer to short clips of signature songs or theme music used to buffer transitions between programming elements, typically lasting no longer than fifteen seconds.[1] It is also a term for music played at music venues such as concerts before showtime, to fill the air, with a musical atmosphere. Bumper music is commonly employed when a syndicated program takes a break for local station identification or "goes to a radio advertisement." More often than not it is called a "bump" in today's radio; NPR also uses the term "button". It is also referred to as "rejoiner music" when the bumper music marks the end of a local break on a radio network.
  6. Is this esoteric enough? Just thinking out loud....
  7. Hey Jack, if you go on tour, I'll play the bongos. Your stuff is sooo entertaining.
  8. Liked your harmonic progression and you created a pleasant sense of space in which to float about the stars. Reminded me a little of a planetarium soundtrack. I listened to *out there*.

    Blue guitar

You play melodies so beautifully. Everything so clean and clear with your guitar stuff. And the accompaniment is just right.
  10. The beginning reminded me of hot air balloons firing up and then drifting off. (gas giants) And then you moved into more outer space territory. I like the structure.
  11. As I suffer from anhedonia, I couldn't experience the joy in your song. I did like the structure and creative harmonies.
  12. Looked like the ingenue was smoking shermans, that's perfect. great production.
  13. vox sounds great. Left side sounds like supposed to be a rhythm guitar...might want better samples for that. song is superb Love the lead guitar, did you play that?
  14. Halloween song called The Shadow Halloween video called the screaming abdabs
  15. thank y'all for the astute observations. It's kind of a short parody of minimalism. Pretense, yes but it's for NPR. I wish I had that gig, those little tunes play over and over again on NPR. Think of the royalties.
  16. Reminded me of 80s MTV. Best Era for pop music. Lyrics are dreamy.
  17. You put a lot of work into your creations. This reminds me of a Damien Hirst shark or cow.

    Callisto

Spacey requires guitar if you like pink Floyd. Seeing as how everyone is from UK here, you may have hit the sweet spot. What I like most about your synth pieces are the subtle humoresque wobbles and jolts here and there.
  19. liked it. The lead vocal was very persuasive.
  20. wow, this is incredible fred. Enjoyed it.
  21. This. Your music is difficult to peg down. it's at the *intersection* (intersectionality haha) of nausea and bliss. I mean that in a good way. The feeling of anticipation, or telos to where? we're not sure but it's fun getting there.
  22. It's recorded at too low of a level, I had to crank it up to hear it. Really magnificent music, lyrical and contemplative. I know what jack meant about a=440 haha. Keep it up!
  23. Nice words and sentiment. At first, i was going to say *the knack* but really you're sui generis. Left me wanting more.
