  1. Thank you @russ.haley . This has been driving me crazy for hours. Search and ye shall find!
  2. **SOLVED*** WHEW! I went into Windows Display Settings and toggled the screen resolution down and back and waddya know - all back to normal! No idea what caused the problem, but I'm back up & jamming. Thanks again for your help! dh
  3. @Lord Tim @HIBI - Yes, that's how it WAS working, but now when I double click on the synth nothing happens at all (except the flyout menu in my first pic). It is the same in tracks in all projects. Again, they are WORKING - and I can even automate parameters - I just can't open the F$#7ing synth... I have Cakewalk installed on another computer and just confirmed the behaviour as you describe - no problems. Also, I see the hightlighted yellow with corner brackets, so that was a red herring. On the problem machine, I did toggle "Recycle VST Windows" off and on, but trying both ways doesn't help.... Thanks, you guys, for your help. dh
  4. *bump* I'm really hoping to figure this out - I am at a standstill right now. I know it's something obvious but I'm going crazy... dh
  5. Hi all, When I double-click on a VST in either Rack View or Track View, the synth does not open. I think I must have clicked an Automation or MIDI Learn mode, because when I single click, the item becomes highlighted in yellow with 4 corner brackets around it. Any ideas? I'm tearing my hear out. MIDI and Audio plugins are behaving the same way. TIA, Declan
