In case you didn't see thread in other forum area...

Ah, thanks. Update information is posted to here is better? or both area? How should I do next time?

  2. Improvements in the current Version 4.2.2
Melodyne 4.2.2 brings the following improvements and numerous minor optimizations all of which make your use of Melodyne more enjoyable, reliable and swift. (Starting from Version 4.2.1)

    New functions and improvements

    • Better window management in Studio One 4: Melodyne’s zoom and other window settings now remain constant when you select a new audio region, instead of being displayed with individual settings as previously.

    Bug fixes

    • Fixed: In Cakewalk, under certain circumstances, instead of new files being analysed automatically, you had to select an algorithm manually in order to trigger the detection process.
    • Fixed: In the stand-alone implementation of Melodyne, closing a project without saving sometimes led to a crash if other projects were open at the time.
    • Fixed: In Logic, validating the Melodyne plug-in sometimes slowed down the launch of the DAW.
    • Fixed: In the stand-alone implementation of Melodyne, opening or importing projects under certain circumstances led to a crash.
    • Fixed: In ARA mode, it could happen under certain circumstances that the monitoring during blob editing no longer functioned after starting and stopping playback.
    • Fixed: In Cakewalk, selecting a new clip sometimes led to a misalignment of the Melodyne position display.

  4. This may be my stupid idea but... it's convenient if realized.
For example in the media browser, project files (cwp) act like a folder and you can expand it. So, tracks of that project are there and can drag a track or tracks what you need into current project.

So the reason seems to be in the old project which i used some clips already with the previous version of melodyne.
Something in the cakewalk file cwp seems to be fault 😞

After update CbB to latest version, I noticed Melodyne region FX disappeared on one of my old project and it became just audio clip. (Clip name and color still looked like Melodyne region FX.) It was weird... So I had to make Melodyne region FX for that clip again. There might be an issue, I think...

    Postscript:
Oh... I had misunderstood. When I checked old backed up project, It was freezed track. I'm so embarrassed. xD
(I usually don't do a freezing so I am not used to it.)

  6. Please do not mind this my comment... :S

Make sure [VST Plug-In Properties] of AD2 in "Cakewalk Plug-in Manager".
'Configure as synth' in Plugin options is checked?
If no, check it on and then try to re-scan plugins. (or re-launch Cakewalk)

    1. Ability to re-arrange the synths / drag up or down.

+1       (If repeated addition and deletion Synths, it brings me chaos...)
IMO: Automatically sorted in the order of corresponded synth's output track is also OK.

  8. @James Argo I don't use any control surfaces or any MIDI controllers. Thanks.

@Chris Jones It might be nice. Thanks.
Now, I'm thinking two approach because there is two possibilities that's caused by a track or a plugin.
#1, delete one track at a time and save as and then reopen it. Repeat this deleting other track.
#2, delete particular plugin from all tracks and save as and then reopen it. Repeat this deleting other plugin.

@Noel Borthwick I sent DM to you in this Forum on Friday. Please check it out.

Send me a link to the project file and I'll see if it gets modified for me. BTW make sure you are running the latest release version since there was a bug fixed in the last release relating to this.

Well... I did check some other projects. There is same problem... WTF!?
I will DM to you and send a simple project. FYI: Cakewalk is latest version.

It is an instrument track. I created the note using piano roll.

Ok... that note in the piano roll is MIDI note. So you are talking about MIDI clips, right? The Process menu is not for MIDI tracks (Clips). So you should add Automation lane for Volume Envelope on that instrument's output track (not MIDI track) or Master Bus (or Sub-mix Bus) to realize "fade out".

You can expand and collapse Automation lanes for each track and bus with clicking the button "A" in below pic. If you expand Automation lane for the first time, there should be Volume Envelope in default.

Anyway I think using Volume automation on Master Bus is easiest way to realize fade out at the end of song.
