  1. Oh, hey, thank you for commenting. No, not at all. Don't have any of those things. I'm sorry for my ignorance, but I kinda don't know nothing about that stuff. I use ASIO4All thingie from FL Studio, but that has been working really well since I installed it. I'm sorry, I really don't know what could've caused this whole humming sound thing.
  2. Hello. Recently I've countered a strange problem that was never an issue before. I made a song and then exported it, but in the exported file there is a strange humming in the background. It's very consistent and low in volume. It truly ruins my song. Let it be known that I've recently upgraded to the new version of Cakewalk, however, the humming sound is not present when the song is played in the DAW, it is ONLY AUDIBLE WHEN I EXPORT THE SONG. That's about all I can think about. Other than that, I don't think I've done anything to cause this issue. I hope anyone can help me out with this. Thank you.
  3. Yo, thank you for answering. I understand a bit better now. However, the problem came back for some reason. I don't know why, it just came back after I turned off and on my computer. It's the same original problem... I'm really clueless as to what I should do. I can't listen to the music I make. Like, if I want to play what I wrote in the piano roll view, it doesn't play anything... I know you just explained it to me, but... Do you think you can help me? That'd be really appreciated.
  4. OMG, I ACTUALLY FIXED IT, HOLY! By myself! And everything works well for now! I installed FL Studio Demo and registered the FL Studio ASIO drivers that come with the program and used them on Cakewalk! OMG, I'M SO HAPPY! I had to find the .bat file that you have to manually click to install the drivers to your PC! This is so cool!
  5. Hello. I'm having a problem with Cakewalk that I didn't originally have. For some reason, all of a sudden, this message appeared: It might have something to do with ASIO and ASIO4ALL and all that. I think my computer doesn't have ASIO, so I installed the ASIO4ALL thingy and it actually worked. Pretty badly, but it worked. Instead of the sound coming from my headphones like everything else, it came out of my TV's speakers that I use as a monitor. But it seems I've touched something and now this thing appears. I'm sorry if I seem helpless, but I actually don't know anything about this stuff. I just personally want to make music and stuff. But this whole thing with the audio and drivers or whatever is just a nightmare. I hope you can help me. Thank you for reading.
  6. Oh, I see, I see... And how do I access the drum map? Maybe I could use it and stuff. Thanks for the answer, by the way.
  7. Hello. I'm a newbie. I was wondering if it's possible to only use the keys in the piano roll view that I need. You see, I'm using third party plugins that don't need to use that many keys. They only need a handful of keys. And they do work, it's just that I get confused trying to navigate through all the keys on the piano roll view. There's like a ton of keys I don't need. I only need a few that do actually work when pressed, but they're not outlined or highlighted in anyway. So I have to guess which one is which. I was wondering if it's possible to modify the layout of the piano roll view to fit the few keys I need in the plugin... Does that make sense? I hope it does! I apologize for any inconvenience.
