I have Kontakt libraries from Sample Logic and NI that have X-Y grids that allow you to sweep between the various sound sources using the mouse. I cannot work out how to record this movement. I have seen examples using automation lanes in Cubase where it seems to work, but in Cakewalk it doesn't work. I can add the X and Y automation lanes in Cakewalk but it doesn't record X-Y movement. It only works the other way, ie you record the instrument and then add nodes and manually draw in movement on these lanes. When you play back you can see the X-Y movement in the Kontakt instrument. This is a far from ideal solution. There must be someway of recording this movement.
