    Bon Voyage!

    Have a great trip!!!
  3. Don't think of it in terms of "need" think of it in terms of "But look how many plugins I have now!" It's all a matter of perspective.
  4. When I first looked at the price I thought it said £383.80. Then I realized the painful truth.
  5. I don't fell like I should vote because the only one I'm aware of is Audacity. Like Pavlov's Cat, I hope this poll will expose more people to more DAWs, myself included.
  6. I like the way you think. Plus, IK has just put Fame Studios Reverb on sale. I sort of feel like I owe it to them to snag a copy!
  7. The demos of this thing sound really good.
  8. I migrated to S1 after we first got the news about CW, but I still come to this forum everyday because I think it's a great place full of really good people. Anyway, I looked at this list of updates and it strikes me how few of the features I actually use in a DAW! I bet I probably less than 10% of what's available. This release makes me realize I need to hit the youtube tuts again.
  9. $30!!!! The nerve!!! Didn't they get the $29 notification?
  10. You're absolutely right about the download size: 1.2GB! But, also like you say, it's a great ir system.
  11. I think Nembrini makes really good stuff, but lately I've been wondering what affect new developments like Tonex and NAM will have on him and others. Hopefully, they'll find a way to morph and stay competitive in the market.

Maybe not the King, but you're clearly stepping up to Prince. We all appreciate you.

    Waves Sale!

I don't remember for certain, but I think so. I think the previous lowest price was $34.95
  15. I got this email from Goyo today concerning a pre-release sale. https://goyo.app/ Dear Goyo Beta User, Today, we’re excited to announce the release of Supertone Voice Clarity, our official product replacing Goyo. This upgraded plug-in retains Goyo’s simplicity and powerful algorithm, along with added features like enhanced CPU performance and offline workflow. Supertone Voice Clarity will be available for purchase starting early October for $99. As a valued beta user, you'll get an exclusive $70 discount, making it just $29. Following the release, we’ll transition into phasing out beta testing. Usage and support for existing users will continue until October 31st, after which we encourage you to use Supertone Voice Clarity.

    Waves Sale!

A Waves sale with all plugins at $29!! Finally! Wow! What a novel idea! I'm jumping in because they may not do that again until . . . tomorrow.
  17. These guys do some worthwhile stuff with some freebies that are worth checking out as well. Thanks for posting this.
  18. I use ST quite a bit, but you guys are dead right about the interface and the library structure. They're both harder than they need to be and making them more user friendly shouldn't be hard at all. C'mon IK.
  19. Is anyone familiar with this? It's brand new to me and looks fascinating. On Friday they're adding another plugin called "Tracer" that let's users add their own "Captured signal chains, including Preamps, Equalizers, Compressors, Limiters, and more, in any combination, from a single piece of gear to complex chains" and those chains can be added to a user Tracer exchange. It looks sort of a like a version of Tonex but focused on outboard gear rather than amps. https://www.stltones.com/products/controlhub-plugin
  20. It looks like that was a chime right on time. Sorry for the bad rhyme.
  21. https://www.billboard.com/pro/ai-music-tools-copy-artists-voices-legal-questions/ it's only an issue when there is enough money for the lawyers to make a case. That's the truth!
  22. Good question. I wonder what the legal issues would be, if any, if someone used an imitator of a singer/actor and cloned that voice rather than the actual artist to make a recording.
