  1. "W" returns to the start of the project as it always has, but when the screen is currently starting at a higher position (say, measure 65) , the screen does not return to start and I have to manually scroll it back. I've been a Cakewalk user for many years, this seems to have just started. I can't imagine that there would be a setting for this. Anyone else seeing this? Happy New Year everyone!
  2. Thank you! I got it to work! I had tried messing with the Saffire previously but had no direction. I can't tell you how many hours... THANKS AGAIN!
  3. I want to connect my TriplePlay MIDI guitar standalone application to a Cakewalk audio channel. The TriplePlay program gives me more control over the sound as opposed to using the TriplePlay direct input to Cakewalk. There does not appear to be a simple way to do this, at least not any clear step-by-step documentation. I've been looking at ASIO Bridge, VBAudio Cable, Jack, etc. I've seen no documentation that directly addresses this. The loopback feature of my Focusrite Sapphire Pro 24 almost works, but it does not allow me to hear pre-recorded tracks with which I want to play along without looping them into the same audio stream. Has anyone ever "wired" a standalone instrument/synth into Cakewalk successfully where you can record the instrument separately while listening to pre-recorded tracks?
  4. I am seeing this also. I upgraded to 5.0, when I choose a clip to edit, I get an audio engine dropout and can't get the audio back or the transport to move. This happens more often then not. I have to close Cakewalk and reopen but that doesn't fix the problem. Melodyne does open but is operable but the transport won't move. When I first installed the upgrade, it wiped out all of the plugins in Cakewalk Plugin manager and I had to scan again to restore. Some clips work ok, others always fail. I sent same info to Melodyne support.
