It's $199usd for me. Too rich for my blood at the moment.

I picked up the 3 pack bundle. hoping this results in a further bundle discount on FX down the road. I recommended on another forum, Arturia should maybe consider a 3 pack mix and match deal. That way people pickup only the ones they want.

That's funny. Why did you add Largo, since you already had it? Experimental shopping? You could write to them and ask about getting Studio 808 discounted.

Largo showed up automatically when i added Lector. Then 202 showed up automatically when I added Largo.

it doesn't really matter. Basically what it is is, it's added to my act at the discounted price if I had used my virtual cash. So its just being able to buy it without having to use my virtual cash. But I have so much virtual cash that I dont know what to do with it.

  3. their website is so messed up.  i added to my cart an it gave me offer to add Largo as well. i added the Largo, then it offered to give me Studio 808 at a heavy discount. I added that as well. Then I removed Largo since I already have it and it removed the Studio 808. :(

  4. yeah. it ain't cheap. but not out of this world pricing. it seems to be priced in up there with the Akai MPC One which has similar standalone functionality.

I am not sure about this one.  I am a heavy Maschine user and have been on a  MK3 for about a year. my setup is  Jam and a MK3. I don't use the built in interface. I can't really see myself using a Maschine without the keyboard and computer and access to the VSTs and Komplete.

Half tempted by the Lurssen. I keep on forgetting VAT will be added to the price but Jam points hopefully will cancel that out.

FWIW.. of the IKM stuff I use, Lurssen is getting lots of use from me.  If you can pile on points, even better. If you want a real quick master to see what it sounds like ,its really great.

Hmmmmm.........after months and months of thinking that PB freebies had become pretty lame, they go and prove me wrong. Might be time for me to finally buy Scaler 2. Having waited soooooooooo looooooooooonnnnnnggggggg for it's release I decided that I might as well wait a bit longer for the inevitable sale (that and the fact that even after all that time the initial release version still seemed to be very broken) but throwing Carbon into the equation makes it feel like it I should do it now rather than just buy something cheap that I don't really want/need just to get the freebie.

scaler is good. if you don't need all the features, obelisk also works just as well if you just use it in a DAW.

Most interestingly it mentions Guitar Rig 6. Curious to see if they can make the leap to the level of the likes of NeuralDSP here.

yup. i recall seeing a beta tester invite for GR6 a while ago. i am very interested in what NI manage to do with GR6 if it does indeed get released.

Kontakt 6.4.0 is now showing the following when you start:

NI really messed this one up.  If you haven't updated to 6.4.0, don't.  If you have, keep your eyes out for an update.

this is what i just saw on my Mac. I was so confused.

Better not get it then. If we start buying plugins that cost 75 EUR on a sale, after we demo them and 'we don't know what to say',  we're doomed. Really, that'll be the end. Scientology level stuff, with hydrogen bombs dropped into volcanoes.

I didn't buy it yet. I didn't buy any of the NeuralDSP sims.

I demoed it to look again at system resource usage. But mostly I demoed it to see if i could get what "to me" sounds like a usable tone. It's weird. I can't quite explain it. Plini sounds modern but the tones don't quite sound right to me. I think it's just a personal subjective thing.

  11. So I demoed Plini again. I don't know what to say. Not entirely sure I like the sound even though it does sound more modern. I think its a personal aesthetic. It's probably a good idea to demo the trial before buy.

Hey guys, so I managed to install Reason Lite 11.2 alongside 11.3, which gives you way more devices in the daw version while maintaining access to the plugin. I installed 11.3, then I deleted the .exe file from the Program Files folder (and the desktop shortcut), and then I installed 11.2

    You can download 11.2 here:

    Windows

    Mac

you bad bad man. love it!!
