No problem with under powering, they under specified. I run them with the amp at somewhere between 3 to 5 plenty loud enough.
Thanks.

Interesting. Those are 100W speakers. Never had an under-powering problem with a 35 watt amp?

@Hidden Symmetry I am listening on my special adapted Wookiee headphones made by Event. The fit is a bit awkward but they work for these furry ears
Just the first track Temporal Affairs I do like it, that has to be a real Sax?
The mix works very well on my Event 20/20 passives.Howdy Wookiee,
I too have the Event 20/20 passives. Might I ask, what amp are you driving them with?

Thanks to everyone who listened and commented. I brought the level up a bit, and it sounds better now- thanks for letting me know it was too low.

What a beautiful song. The music really accentuates some heart pulling lyrics. The vocals and harmonies are excellent. This mix sounds professional and radio ready to me.
Well done!!
freddy,
Thanks for the listen and the kind comments. Appreciated very much.

Nigel,
This is really good. I would be more effusive, but can only write with one hand these days, so it's tedious.

This doesn't sound like a demo to me, it sounds like a record, and a well mixed one at that! If I could get my mixes close to this I would be a happy camper. Fantastic voice! Everything excellent!
Tonemangler,
Thanks for listening. Appreciate it.

Interesting song. Well produced, the pedal steel is used sparingly but is a really nice touch. I hope I can develop a touch as delicate as yours one day.
Side note, I was stationed down the road from Amarillo at Reese Air Force Base near Lubbock. Truthfully, don't miss the place a bit. There's a reason Mac Davis felt like writing "(Lubbock) Texas In My Rear View Mirror". 😄
Jim,
Thanks for the listen. Loved Mac Davis. There was a video on this song as well.

Nice little ditty, Bob! You and your wife do good work.
Ah, the old Route 66! I was born on it, just down the road apiece in Elk City. Living on it again in Flagstaff.
John,
Thanks for listening. I too remember the old 66. Spent three days stuck in Gallup back in '70 - couldn't get a ride for love or money!

Hey Bob, in Canada we liken this to Blue Rodeo, in USA maybe Bruce Springsteen (or Tom Petty, as commented before here) . . . either way a great piece of folk rock, and a catchy rememberable melody.. The mix seems radio friendly, though, my ears want to hear more low end bass / kick . . . but song wise so nicely done !
noynekker,
Thanks for taking the time to listen. I hadn't heard Blue Rodeo (I don't get out much😃), but they are great!

Bob

Haven't been around for a while, but I've been listening and enjoying some great stuff here.
I know it's considered bad form to post songs without commenting on other's, but I can only type with my left hand now, and it's a real chore to type.
This was recorded in my old Sonar X3 Pro.
