  1. given all the projects start with the same topology try sharing mix recall files.
  2. Files with a CWT extension are project templates and should be stored in the project templates folder. The project templates folder is set in the Templates entry in Preferences > File > Folder Locations. Files with a CWX extension are track templates and should be stored in the track templates folder. The project template folder is set in the Track Templates entry in Preferences > File > Folder Locations. For the "where is my template" problem, try developing a workflow storing templates in their appropriate path based on preferences. This usually involves suppling some folder information in the save dialog either with the "Go To Folder" drop down or navigating the directory display. To create a project template from one or more track templates, create a new project, add the templates and save as a project template. Retain or delete the original track template(s) as desired. To create a track template from a project, open the prpoject, select the tracks and save as a track template. Retain or delete the original project template as desired.
  3. "Slide Over" was TARFU before ripple edit was introduced. Nice to see it back on the bug list.
  4. Included with CbB: The unfortunately named Sonitus Surround may be worth a look. Of course, many ampsims include some effect like this, TH3 Cakewalk is no exception.
  5. The key to display the standard header for 32bit plug-ins hosted in Bitbridge changed since that post from SHIFT to ALT
  6. While not the same hardware, it may need the same CbB config tweak as other Avid interfaces. See
  7. This bit of deflection is not intended as a substitute for reading the post you reply to, is it?
  8. I have no idea. The OP started out as a decades long issue with mp3 imports. Fortunately, there is a very long history of threads we can review for issues with mp3 imports. Import failures involving conversion to wav are rare. Most are DRM or system permission issues. It took 2 additional posts to discover this is not an mp3 issue but at least an mp3 and flac issue. Any other formats involved?
  9. The DAW only works with wav format in the project. During import the audio may be resampled if different from the project sample rate then is written out as a wav file. The DAW is having trouble writing the imported file to the H: drive. If H: is a removable drive, it may be instructive to see what happens if the import is performed with the project located on a fixed internal drive. Maybe use the system drive and the factory default project folder.
  10. Finally, a hovercraft with a hidden track indicator
  11. Sometime solutions are just where one would expect them to be. This particular issue is in the troubleshooting section of the documentation: http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Troubleshooting.31.html
  12. TH3 Cakewalk includes a time-limited demo the full version of TH3. The demo is activated when any of tjme full version features are used. IOW using the "See All" presets and components that are not part TH3 Cakewalk. Getting TH3 Cakewalk back usually requires reinstalling the plug-in. Currently TH3 is part of the core CbB install. Here are the steps to re-install TH3 Cakewalk using the CbB installer. uninstall CbB rename or delete %appdata%\Overloud\TH3 reinstall CbB
  13. The original PC-2A was a PC only module sold separately. The CA-2A added sidechain, AU and VST2/3 formats for Windows/MAC. This too was sold separately. The PC-2A was added to CbB 2021.04
  14. ASIO and WASAPI are audio specifications. They have nothing to do with MIDI. If WASAPI stopped working you may need to refresh the driver.
  15. Use what ever works. Manufacturer supplied ASIO drivers usually perform best but there are exceptions. At least, the DAW works with native drivers too. I used to have a Presonus 44VSL. ASIO was the best performer for it. But the interface only worked with the USB3 ports on the PC. Using the interface with the PC's USB2 ports (which it was designed for) always caused crackling. Definitely not the norm. IIRC, at the time the PC I was using even had off-brand USB3 chipsets too.
  16. Yes, but it seems there's no way to assign a computer keyboard shortcut to Mute on a certain bus, as we've been discussing. Nice...I probably should have included more of the original post. The post I was replying to was edited after my repy. It contained information about the German keyboard layout and inconvenient key locations.
  17. I responding to the user quoted in my reply not the OP.
  18. It's just an assembly job - easier than car, harder than a hammer. I elect to buy all three preassembled and use my time in other ways.
  19. It's BandLab not bandicamp 1. pitch and time controls (Q in the image below) are on the instrument/MIDI track inspector. They have been there for years in SONAR DAWs before BandLab bought the software. 2. Lyrics view is available. It may be hidden due to your workspace setting. Either change to a workspace that shows the view, create a new workspace or set workspaces to None. This too is a feature inherited from the old SONAR DAW.
  20. If you prefer everything in one track, different clip colors may be the solution. Each clip may be assigned its own foreground and background in clip properties.
  21. To see if taking out as many plug-ins and real time processing as possible will produce the desired export and/or help narrow down the cause of the problem.
