  1. Nice! I'm really liking the new knob design and fader widget depth. One suggestion - add the heavier/brighter centered line weight to the Pan knobs so they match the Gain knobs. Nit-picking at this point, which is a positive. 😊
  2. Wow, you may have outdone your cover-ness with this one. And talk about picking the perfect video... ah-woooooooooooo!
  3. Huh... first to reply. Sounds great here! Really well done radio-friendly rock and the mixes are punchy and clean, suits them to a tee.
  4. Just downloaded 4.75 - looks good! The only thing I'll probably change are the performance meters so they better fit with the color scheme (not orange 😉).
  5. Sounds good! I knew you already working on other changes so didn't want to do too much, rather focusing on some of the larger/global items instead. I will be very curious to see the end result!
  6. Nothing much to add to the comments above - just a great combination of songwriting, artists and production. Y'all did some fine work and certainly made the right call to let the emotion shine through.
  7. I liked it... it's ambient/new age-y, yet still has forward movement throughout. The way you brought subtle textures and lines in and out was effective.

    Kraken

I liked that... A Celtic foundation with distorted guitars and synth leads? Sure, why not! 😊
  9. That was really cool... the song has a great slightly dark and hazy vibe, while the playing is clear and locked in. And the video was trippy, never knowing what was going to come next. The part with the male and female gods (?) had a great visual effect.
  10. Hi Adam, I hope you don't mind but I was inspired to make a few changes to expand on the aqua elements... https://drive.google.com/file/d/1t69oJ4jkaNl34r23eiTAkLTiaHWK0-QQ/view?usp=sharing
  11. OK, that put a smile on my face. 🙂 A brilliant combination of, well, all kinds of stuff. And it works so well... Oh, and who cares about the level of the bass? IMHO, in a piece like this it just doesn't matter.
  12. Way late here... Nice one, Lynn. It has a great Santana-ish file that I really like, but still sounds like you.

    Believe

Another great piece you've got here... Wasn't expecting the message at first, yet it never stopped driving forward with crunch and clarity.

    Just One Way

Loved it... Somewhere between classic Zep vibe and newer blues artists like Kenny Wayne Sheppard. Overall, I think Jimmy Page would be proud of this one.
  15. OMG... this was freakin' awesome. Never would I have thought I'd be singing along to "Tinfoil Hat" in harmony, over some really tasty piano. And with lyrics that are just so on point. And I also learned something about laundromats to boot. 👍
  16. At first glance... love it. The Control Bar in particular really provides a lot of clarity.
  17. Make sure you press Ctrl first, and when dragging it does have to be below the clip header bar. Ctrl-Drag Clip Envelope.mp4
  18. FWIW, you can also Ctrl+Drag downward on a clip to temporarily activate the clip envelope. When you're done it should revert to the clip (Clips in the edit filter).
  19. I wonder if you have some weird MIDI channel assignment issue happening... What happens if you record MIDI using one of those other synths and then copy the resulting MIDI clip to the drum synth's MIDI track?
  20. Yes, he did handle it well. While I may still not care for it I have a much better understanding where he was coming from.
  21. Huh... nah, I wasn't too crazy about the winning entry. The orchestral aspects were very nice, but the 16bit Nintendo stuff.. for me, it just didn't vibe with the futuristic feel of the video. Even the humor bits I didn't quite "get" while watching against the action in the video. But what I do I know, I've never done this before! Some of the runner up snippets sounded really good though - very realistic and traditional sounding orchestra pieces.
  22. Thanks @Philip G Hunt! This was my first "real" attempt at scoring so I know there's a lot to learn. Gotta start somewhere! I liked your piece - it was very moody, and a bit dark like the video. 🙂
  23. Thanks @Makke! I appreciate it. Thanks @treesha! I did try to mix up the synth and orchestra elements a bit, and to get at least a little movement. Thanks @freddy j! It was really odd watching the clip with just dialog and production sounds, no music or effects. Music really does make the difference!
