    PUNK ROCK BEAT

I made a punk rock beat. This is just an instrumental for other people to use (cause some people wonder why there are no vocals). I don't have a good voice but maybe one day i'll sing over one of my beats 😂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6ESYU4B5Sw
  2. Im beginning to start selling beats so Im still kind of new to this whole industry, but this is a beat for people to buy and use so they can sing over it. Its pretty common for rappers and how a lot of famous producers become well known when a rapper purchases and uses their beat (but this obviously isnt a song for a rapper. most likely people of the indie pop genre will be interested in it)).
  3. Yea i had a lot of fun with this one. Its a fun genre because you can do a lot with it because it is like a mix of a lot of genres like alternative and hip hop.
  4. I posted my first type beat on youtube and it is an indie popish beat. Ive been using cakewalk for almost 2 years but also used a free trial of splice too. Honestly splice is good but not worth a subscription. I hope you like the beat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtUXuY4hH5o
  5. I remixed the will smith slap in cakewalk (i was bored haha) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5uSPbOBZeg
  6. I posted a link to my song on soundcloud in another post and this is a post of the same song but I just posted the visualizer on YouTube if anyone wants to see it:

    My New Song

This is a new electronic song I made. I hope you like it: https://soundcloud.com/user-620104591/up-away/comment-1442699365
  8. To be honest, I never use the matrix view. I do see how you see it can be helpful for a genre like this. Maybe I should start using it more.
  9. Thanks for the tips!!
  10. This is a hyperpop song I made in cakewalk. I don't really like hyperpop but it was fun to make this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haVAQJNDAV4

    My New Song

Thank you!! I got lucky with the speed of my melody making and everything else on this track. I usually don't work this fast 😂

    My New Song

Here's a song that I made. It's an electronic song that took me about a combined total of 3 hours. I would appreciate any tips on my music production skills https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_V11_qX2RYc
  14. Thanks for the feedback! I know 9 secs isn't a lot, I just hardly did any work on it so far 😂. I'll be sure to link the final song whenever I finish.
  15. Hi, I would appreciate it if someone gave a tip on this beat I made for a song that I am going to make. It's just a quick 9 second snippet of the beat. I attached an audio file. Edit: I forgot to mention that it is a snippet of the beat for the chorus where the singer sings (no vocals on this yet, though). beat snippet.wav
  16. Nevermind, I solved it. There is a preset called MIDI Fun where you can assign MIDI. Thank you Scook for helping me set it up!
  17. I got that part to work but now the autotune is just automatically snapping notes still and not doing the notes I assigned it to. I did all of the steps, is there something specific I have to do with this plugin?
  18. I just tried with gsnap and it wont pop up(I don't think it supports midi input, unless I did something wrong). Is there a good free autotune that allows me to use midi input? EDIT: It finally popped up, but it seems like the autotune is still doing it automatically and not locking onto the notes that I assigned it to using the midi
  19. I have 2 questions. One is: Does the free autotune plugin Gsnap let you input midi to an audio file (so you can choose the specific notes something snaps to)? And if it does, how would I go about setting it up?
  20. Also: here's a soundcloud link with a cover of the track. I'm going to post the audio on youtube soon too: https://soundcloud.com/user-620104591/journey-through-sunshine
  21. This is another edm song I made. Honestly, this is one of my favorites I have made. I know someone might tell me vocals could have made it better, so maybe I will start singing or start working with others. That would be fun! Anyway, Here is the song (feedback would be nice too 😊): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqF4vH2L4cU
  22. Thanks, Jack! I appreciate it.
