  1. I'm enjoying that theme a lot. Great work!
  2. Yoooo this theme is sick (if you don't remember me, colin, its me caleb kim. You probably dont remember, but not too long ago I asked for an all white theme). I'm so happy for this!!!
  3. Thank you. I appreciate it!
  4. I have been making EDM songs recently and have been really enjoying it. Here is the second one I posted on my SoundCloud and YouTube (you can click either link): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsbwUdJoMU8 https://soundcloud.com/user-620104591/fireworks

    My best song ever

    Thanks for the information!

    My best song ever

I did just did some simple eq-ing and volume stuff. I'm not much of a pro with terms because I'm still learning things about mixing. Edit: I just realized I basically had low and high passed filters on pretty much everything 😂. You have good a good ear. By the way, is it bad to have too much of those filters?

    My best song ever

Thanks Bapu. I think you listened to another one of mine because I changed my account name from Caleb Kim to seakay (I think cause I think I saw you comment on one of my tracks before).

    My best song ever

This is probably my best song ever. Don't think I can top it for a little while. You can watch it on either my youtube or soundcloud. Feel free to criticize, though. Here's the song: YT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmsKVyoZceY SC: https://soundcloud.com/user-620104591/blossom

https://soundcloud.com/user-620104591/bedtime Here is another track. This is a quick beat I made and I hope you like it (feel free to criticize, there are probably lots of things I need to work on).
  11. I was wondering if I can make the metronome/recording start after a countdown. For example, this would be useful to record something at the start of my project.
  12. Here's another track I made in Cakewalk: https://soundcloud.com/user-620104591/refuse Before you listen I just want to say I messed up on some things that I was lazy to fix. One of the 808 is mixed louder than the others (you will probably only hear it get louder on headphones). And a music box was mixed really bad on the second drop.
  13. Thanks. The version that I have right now is version 2020.09 (Build 006, 64 bit)
  14. I'm sorry, I don't know how to check the version. The bandlab launcher says it's up to date, though.
  15. I was wondering if there is a way to stretch audio to be better quality. For example, I was stretching a riser so it can have a longer duration, but whenever I do this it also makes the audio file sound "robotic", if that's the right word. I do know that stretching a sample can never retain perfect quality, but it would be nice to know if I can make it sound slightly better.
  16. I was wondering if there is a way to make the sound on sound option in the preferences load automatically when a new project is created. It can be very tedious to open preferences and keep checking the sound on sound box. It would be great to know a solution. Thank you!
  17. Thanks for the recommendations, but I have all those themes already, But to be honest, I have been using the default theme (tungsten) over all the light themes I have, and dark themes.
  18. I know in the preferences you can make a metronome play on playback, recording, or both. But is there an easier way to change this without going to the preferences? I know by clicking the metronome it takes you to the metronome settings in the preferences, but that can get annoying. EDIT: I found it out. I just had to click these to buttons to the left:

It's fine (as in I didn't take anything personal. I just realized I made it sound like I was saying it was fine to adding a melody on top). I thank you for your criticism. It made me realize how repetitive my beats can be.
  20. seakay

Yeah, I agree too. I am struggling to add a variety of melodies that make the song less repetitive. I just learned scales, though(im learning the piano) and its been helping me make melodies in my song have a similar feel, but still different to make it less repetitive.
