  1. I've been around since Cakewalk was invented, so I have archived Pro Audio/Sonar projects as far back as the mid-1990s that still work with Cake by BL. In that last 25+ years, obviously I have gone through different hardware. I have a lot of projects that were mapped to various multi-output interfaces and digital consoles that I mixed using hardware and recorded through the mixer to stereo. I now mix "in the box" using a control surface to augment and if I open an old project, I can easily reset all the audio outputs of tracks to a single stereo output by selecting them all and using the "selected track outputs" dialog. That is the functionality I would love to see with midi. As it is now, if I open a multi-track midi file, I must change each output one at a time as it routes all midi to whatever midi port is at the top of the list, in my case, my launchkey. A launchkey generates no sound, so it is useless as an audition device. If I want to insert a softsynth like TTS 1 to audition, I have to select each midi output one at a time and reroute from the launchkey. I know I could use the GS wavetable synth as default and it would route there for audition, but it is too slow with a buffered start and a PITA to line up with audio. If I want to reroute usable midi to a better softsynth that is fast enough to stay in sync with the audio files, I still must reset each output one at a time. Is this possible functionality?
  2. Yes, select, fader touch and solo all select. I found a workaround that will give me the functionality. All I am wanting is to not have to grab the mouse and scroll. So, select "Keep track/console views in sync" in the Track Manager. Then I simply select the last or first fader I want to view and it auto scrolls over to that bank of 8. If later in the count missing info to the right, I touch fader 8. If missing to the left, I touch fader 1. Works but I have noticed it loses sync after certain random control uses but just close the console view and it reopens correct. If I am simply mixing, it holds sync.
  3. Is there any way to have the scroll bar on the mixer view follow the bank change? If using less than 16 channels I set my mixer view up so only those 16 channels show at a time but when I get more than will fit (even fully narrowed) on the screen it becomes quite clunky. I would love it where the faders in operation on the control were like always the far left 8 visible channels and the view would move in relation to the fader bank control. If not already possible, would be a great feature functionality addition to a future release of the cake batter by the bakers.
  4. So, for whatever reason, the gremlins decided everything could work again. Windows was updating? Something was wrong with the memory? A cricket in the case? Just works fine now.
  5. It should blow up large enough to read if clicked on. NOTHING but Midi OX is running when I get the message.
  6. Edit: Added CbB screenshot as well. Starting to suspect W10 update. Midi OX started acting funny now. Screenshot attached. Trying to enable or disable the KB and this comes up. Somehow I think they screwed up the memory allocation for Midi.
  7. So, like many folks, I have been having the MIDI stop recognizing input from my keyboard. Mackie control keeps working but CbB stops recognizing midi data. The data is being generated by KB as verified by MIDI OX. I shutdown CbB and delete TTSSEQ, restart, and recheck inputs and all works well... For about 200 key presses of my midi keyboard then, nothing. KB still sending midi info into the computer, Vitrual Controller working, piano roll working, Mackie Control working, just no midi input from, KB. Tested with Akai Mini and Axiom 25. Same behavior from both. Searched forum, google everywhere I can think of, no joy. Could this be a new bug? Does it on both 2020.1 and 2020.4 ER v2. Flummoxed.
