GP4 is $169 direct from Deskew. That is what I was referring too. When Deskew announced GP4, they stated that those who had bought GP3 since March1 would get GP4 for free. But if you bought direct from Deskew, you would have paid full price.

Thing is, it is not like you can't use GP3. Was GP3 not worth $25 to you when you bought it? Or did you buy it, hoping it was a dirt cheap path to GP4? If so, seem like playing the lottery to me. As others have pointed out, GP4 is $169 right now. So $99+$25 is still cheaper than $169. If I buy something on sale and then it goes on sale for cheaper elsewhere, I do not consider the extra money I spent on the item, money down the drain. When I bought the item, I paid what it was worth to me. It would nice if a company refunded the difference, but I don't feel it is my right that they do.

Agree 100%. It is only entitlement to think you should get a free upgrade when paying $25 for a $169 item. You do realize that it is more than PA involved here. Deskew also has to make a living as well. Gig Performer 3 is fine bit of kit and is worth far more than the $25 I paid for it. I was happy to get it for that price. Would you complain when you buy a 2021 car at a discount just before the 2022 models comes out with more features and then didn't get a free upgrade to the 2022 model?

It might be worth doing the upgrade if I could use a voucher, but I am not sure vouchers will be sent out this month. Vouchers are not sent out during major sales and this month PA is running their summer sale.

So what does it even mean to "screw" a preset? Sounds rude. Looks like somebody used Google Translate to translate the phrase "Enthalten sind außerdem vier exklusive Presets die von KEYS-Autor Carl-Philipp Schmeller geschraubt wurden." I suspect it should have been translated "created" but I am not a German speaker so I can't say for sure.

This one has been free so many times now. I cringe every time I see it offered for free, because I know the adolescent humour is going to run rampant. It is just not funny anymore.

I am having an issue with Scaler 2.4 and Studio One. In Performance mode, I get stuck notes. Does not happen with any of my other DAWs.

The crossgrade price is $99 (regular price is $199), but it looks like there is a promo code MIXB50 that is automatically added that reduces the price by $50. Since Mixbox is a combination of effects from T-RackS, AmpliTude, and SampleTank, I suspect owning any one of those products would qualify you for a crossgrade. It looks like a good deal at $49, but I own a lot of T-RackS, and AmpliTude stuff, so I am not sure what this would add. Maybe the convenience of have this all in one rack?

Been there, done that. That is when I discovered the tpkd.sys deletion solution.

I have never had a problem with this. I have installed the complete AIEP3 and the SONiVOX Premier Collection. As long as I remembered to delete tpkd.sys and reinstall the latest iLok, I was okay.

This is actually pretty old news, but a good reminder. The problem was that some Air Music (and SONiVOX) plugins were installing an old version of iLok even if you had a newer version installed. The old version of iLok would install a driver that would render you computer unbootable until you deleted tpkd.sys from c:\Windows\system32\drivers. You could not even use system restore to back out of the install.
