I am fine with the mods locking this thread too. I think everyone has had their say and I feel we should move in on.

So... are the iRig hardware part of the free products or am I misunderstanding? I've had a rough couple days so I'm not thinking clearly, but if so, that's a game changer for sure! If so, I'll be adding iRig Keys Pro 2 and the acoustic guitar mic. If not, I'll try the X-pedals and pick from those or SaturatorX.
No hardware is part of the free products. Buying qualifying hardware will get you into the GB .

What about a poly synth? 😉
It might be racist or gender insensitive (I can never remember) to exclude poly synths from participating.
My turn to get my coat.

That's just what always happens around here when the little boys and girls can't play nice. The moderators are generally invisible here, but just doing their job.
Yes, I suppose this is true. I guess it is akin to the police pulling over a speeder on the freeway, causing traffic to back up all because one person had a heavy foot.

"That" mod is a well respected, long-term member of the Cakewalk community. That remark was uncalled for. Unless you just feel lucky! 🤣
The remark was definitely uncalled for. However, even well respected long-term members can make mistakes. It does seem like a bit of an overreaction since it was only one post to which absolutely nobody else responded, except to maybe report it. Such a policy does seem to put a lot of power into the hands of some malcontent who wants to kill a thread. I can't believe there is no ability to unlock a thread, once it has been cleaned up, and we all promise to behave like good little girls and boys.

Canadian Ale when we all visit 🙃

Let's keep the thread going here!
Oh you beat me to it. And I had such imaginative titles for this thread...
IK 25th Anniversary Group Buy Part Deux
IK 25th Anniversary Group Buy Thread- The Sequel
IK 25th Anniversary Group Buy - No Poly Ticks Allowed

Pre-pre-deleted just in case what I say is misconstrued.

Hope this doesn't lock this thread, but here is a link to the explanation of the meme:

Can a thread be reopened once it is locked?

The comment was pretty innocuous, I thought. The poster listed a bunch of bad things that happened to him and then ended it with "Thanks Obi-Wan" referencing the meme about O getting blamed for everything bad.

Standalone locks up on the 10-second splash screen as well. Now its at least 2:10. I reverted back to an earlier build (thanks for the advice!) a couple of weeks ago when I noticed the VH4 model went to 26 on my resource meter, but it didn't solve the problem. Is anyone using that model in a project that sees the same CPU hit? I'd love to see if that's been fixed but looks like I'll need to file a ticket before that can be found out.
For what is it worth, AmpliTube 5.2 works fine for me in Studio One. Also the VH4 does seem to be any more power hungry on my machine than any other amp.

Well here is one step back. Every time I open AmpliTube 5.2 in standalone now it tells me that if I want to use any gear in trial mode, I should start the IK Multimedia Product Manager and restart AmpliTube 5. Thing is, I own everything in AmpliTube and have no need for trial mode. How do I get rid of this message?

So all you need to do is mention Obayamaha in a thread and you can kill it?

I don't get it. How are we ever supposed to beat the KVR thread count now?

Why is it now locked?

Wow it is really moving along. Only 3,024 to go! By Golly we're going to make it!
We actually only need about 6/hour to make the goal. In the last 8 hours, it has been 16/hour. So unless someone turns off the lights and we all go home, we can party on.

@Peter - IK Multimedia Do you have an answer? Would there be a 199 crossgrade as a freebie available, or is it only the MSRP in the freebies? So would a UNO synth qualify me for Amplitude 5 or Sampletank 4 or will I fall short?
I am not Peter (obviously), but you would qualify for Amplitude 5 and Sampletank 4. I bought Amp5 for $199 and was able to pick up Sampletank 4, Sampletron 2, Modo Drum, Hammond B-3X, etc at the crossgrade price, even though the MSRP was above $199.

I don't know if you or anyone else sorted this out yet, or if more info is needed (from someone like @Peter - IK Multimedia), but I was under the impression that the software functionality was previously added to AT5. I haven't found where I read that, by my impression at the time was IK made updates to the AT5 software so that it was ready for the hardware roll-out.
If so, what does selecting any of the X-Pedal [-Drive, -Space, -Time, -Vibe] Software Only freebies give AT5 users that they don't already have?
The software versions of X-Pedals for AT5 were/are a separate $149.99/pedal purchase. The update only provided for the ability to add the X-Pedals to AT5 but did not add the actual pedals.

IK 25th Anniversary Group Buy (Continued)

In reality, IKM doesn't really do upgrade pricing. I may be wrong, but I can't think of a single IKM product line where the price of a higher level is less just because you own something in that product line at a lower level. All you need to do is buy any IKM product worth $99 or more , and you get the crossgrade/upgrade price for any other IKM product, no matter the line. It is a good deal but it can be confusing.
