That reminds me; I Unified quite a few on that list and some of the original libraries have been updated so the Unified libraries need updating to reflect the changes. e.g. new patches in the latest Dune 3.

There are also quite a few other 3rd party libraries that I and others have Unified.  I posted quite a few on their forum e.g. Ultra Analog VA-3, Swatches 1.5.2,  Super-8, Lounge Lizard EP-4, UVI Synth Anthology 3 and some I have still to post. You can find these and others here https://forums.pluginguru.com/unify-patchbook/  and here https://forums.pluginguru.com/unify-share/

I have just started using Unify. It is a great piece of software, hard to descibe but really useful and fun to play with.

I have Unified a bunch of libraries myself. I haven't submitted anything yet though.

Having all those libraries Unified though makes me wish that Unify and a hierarchical library list. My Library list is starting to get a bit unwieldy. I also wish that when you select a library, the Categories and Tags were limited to what was found in the selected library. I suppose I should submit some feature requests.

Picture is sometimes worth more than a 1000 words. Need to capture your screen with some "movement" for either a question or an answer here in the community? The following is a link to FREE software to help you do just that. It's fairly intuitive overall but there is a little learning curve, but it's free and kinda fun. Supports sound (in/out) as well - might come in handy. Plus it can do so much more

This has got to be one of the best open source projects around. OBS absolutely delivers.

and how fast sonokinetic freebee disappears? I regularly check the info updates every 12 hours. Seems it's enough to get it.

The new sale starts at 7AM PST every day. The freebies have a limited number of keys and after the keys are all gone, the items that were free are available at a discount. This year there you could chose one of three items, and each was limited to 1000 keys. So 3000 people got lucky today.

I really just don't want my posts showing up in Google search if a client  is googling  my name. But I suppose since I  really don't post anything  controversial, it's not a huge thing.

Back when Google was in its infancy, I search my name and Google pulled up posts I had made back in 1983 to an obscure news group. Fortunately it was nothing embarrassing. Back then I was the only Doug Rintoul on the net. Now there are dozens of us.

Seriously,  does  anyone administrate  this forum? Every once in a while I  see one of Larry's threads marked  delete and I assume that someone eventually deletes them,  but it seems pretty quiet for a forum. Also,  if there is someone  I'd  love it if they  could  fix the glitch that results in some of our real names being  displayed from time to time. I know I'm not the only one it happens to because I've seem Larry mention that it happens to him too.

What? Your real name is not PavlovsCat?

Yeah right, guys check in your accounts that you're subscribed to the newsletter.

I'm wondering if this will be excluded from the picks...?

IIRC Post Rock was released last December and I was able to pick it as my freebie.

  7. Before finding this group, I was a KVR junkie. But it was so toxic at times, I just did not have the nerve to post much there. Here at least, when you upset someone, there is still the possibility of coming out the other end with your sanity intact and relationships restored. Not to say there haven't been the good popcorn moments here and there.

The only solution I can see to controlling my GAS is to get my wife to join this group. There is absolutely no way I am going to suggest that to her.

Ok, so I didn't want to believe it but it is exactly what it says on the tin: 1673 midi files that each contain a single chord. That's it.

Can someone please explain to me why someone would use these? Is there some mystic workflow or software where selecting a midi file is actually faster and easier than hitting a C major on your keyboard? Or is this for people who don't have a keyboard? For people who want to make music without learning any theory?

    Not judging, simply curious.

Though admittedly, I have now learned that you should use a different variation of C major for future bass and chillwave, and that Spanish hip-hop doesn't use C major at all (only C min, but you can use two variations of it). 🤷‍♂️

I suspect that the chords are not your typical three/four note chords, but consist of different voicings, intervals and inversions. They might be useful to feed into an arpeggiator or some other midi manipulator as well.
