Audio drivers have nothing to do with MIDI.

My apologies as well.
I tend to be very blunt and direct and that doesn't serve me well when I jump the gun instead of finding out more information first.
We have had so many people come by here and blame the software when they're trying to do things like run it on a dinosaur machine that is already breathing it's dying breaths or using multiple instances of ozone and things like that. I made an unwarranted assumption and forgot how to spell assume.

This isn't a Cakewalk problem, it's a your keyboard problem.

You know what really baffles me the most? Those assholes who complain that you aren't being helpful when you link them to the exact page in the documentation or to a clear, concise video that completely explains their exact question.

recommended but not required ffs, if bandlab want to get all the youth on board having a bunch of old men moaning when they ask a reasonable question won't help - come on!
If you want to call being truthful and realistic "moaning," that's your problem.

furry muff, but if it's about making things easier, why double-down on asio? a lot of (especially new) users don't know the difference between asio and their elbow and half the posts here recommend waspi (even more obscure than asio) as a driver, so let's be inclusive rather then exclusive 😘
Maybe people should learn....

I don't think the OP is going to answer. He hasn't been back in over 3 1/2' years.
You really need to start your own thread instead of bringing a zombie back to life

3 1/2 year old dead thread....

You're right. No one would read it. And you'd still be answering the same question every couple of days.

Remove your email address 😉
Too late. Every spam bot in the world has it already.

Putting all that stuff on your OS drive doesn't cut it either.

You start your own thread instead of hijacking someone else's on a completely unrelated topic that was resolved 1 1/2 years ago.
All that does is create confusion.

So you joined the forum just to necromance a year and a half old dead thread to boast how you accomplished something pointless....

Why are you using surround on a stereo interface? One reason you can be losing sound is because you have channels set up in surround that the interface doesn't have available.
Same reason people record their vocals as "stereo:" its better!

Your master bus is routed to nowhere and all of your tracks need to get there somehow. Everything should end up going out through your master bus.

ME : "You haven't answered why the VST2 version is not installing."
THEM : "There's no difference between VST2 and VST3 versions, they're just different formats of the identical sound. Because you're using an unsupported host DAW, I'm not sure I can be all that helpful with your DAW issues. I'd suggest reaching out to BandLab instead for issues with your DAW."
If only they knew !!!!!!! (I underlined the "different formats"). Why can't they just tell me why the VST2 version isn't installing ??!!! What an incredible brush off. They're now clearly saying it's a DAW issue.
At this point I would just cut my losses.
There are plenty of other companies who's offerings work just fine.

"Inexpensive" and "Cheap" are not the same thing.
There are all kinds of inexpensive - even free - plugins that are awesome.
