What do you think of Ardour?
MIDI editing is not ready for prime time.

The tube version is better anyways because it has richer harmonics and a smoother high end.

Nobody else noticed that the power input jack isn't wired up?

I hate to tell you this but you wasted 30 bucks on that. That thing doesn't even have proper 1/4" and XLR inputs or proper speaker outputs. You need to return it and get a proper interface that has proper inputs and outputs, proper gain controls and a proper ASIO driver.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about having vintage gear that I bought brand new....

I think some quality time with the documentation would be in order....

Because cakewalk tells him not to? ?♂️
If he was using the manufacturer's own driver, he wouldn't be having this issue.

I came here to ask a legitimate question about a feature the software offers, just looking for some pointers and maybe some insight. I don’t know why you felt you needed to post this. Not only does it add no value to the thread, it’s disrespectful. Maybe you think you’re being funny or you are bitter. Don’t know, but please just avoid comments like this in the future. It’s old and not productive.
And I gave a legitimate answer. Play in time. That's not disrespectful. Man, you would have had a rough time with my guitar teacher, that's for sure....

How do you guys normally time guitars?
Play in time.

Why are you not using the ASIO driver from the manufacturer?

The only one I 've really had trouble with is the post office. I can't remember what it is called but there is some thing where one carrier brings the package from it's origin and the post office makes the final delivery. I've seen UPS get something all the way across the country in two days and then the post office sat on it for TWO WEEKS

That sounds pretty stupid. I have never heard of anyone doing that; people just send the files back and forth.

Rapture.
But definitely not in the eschatological sense.

You need bass traps - real bass traps and not chunks of foam masquerading as bass traps - before you need room correction software.
