With this setup i can use any of the keyboards with any of the pc's without switching cables around. Pretty low cost too.👍
That’s pretty amazing!!! I’d love to see that unpacked! Do you have a video on the setup and how it works?

I checked out your recommended midi keyboard. I'm pondering about a new one.
There are a ton of options for sure. Best of luck!

I made this video not to long ago to help answer a question for a subscriber. I thought I’d drop it in her as well. Hope it helps!

Hey all! I know it’s short notice, but I thought I’d share this with you as I know most of you either have a song you’re working on, or have one in the chamber.
Submit your song to be heard live on the show and have a chance to win some cool prizes!
Each song will be reviewed by a panel of fellow mix engineers and voted upon based off of several factors. (Musicality, quality of the mix, arrangement, instrumentation, etc.)
The submission can either be an instrumental or a full blown band, all stipulations listed below.
If you’re interested in getting in on the fun, upload your song here: https://bit.ly/July-Song-Submissions
Or email your submission to me!
Technicalities:•MP3's are acceptable for the submission, for listening purposes.
•No cursing is to be contained in the songs as this is a clean channel.
•No copyrighted material can be submitted.
Deadline: July 15th, 2020 Questions? Email me at: homestudiosimplified@gmail.com

I am starting a series where I am Breaking down some of my early productions to showcase various arrangement choices and to discuss mixing options.
The premise behind these videos is not a showcase my personal talent but rather to walk through my creative process, in the hopes that it might help someone else along their journey.

Yes but I believe the new versions lack the PC format.
Yes sir. I believe you are correct. But they are available none the less.

Both of those are actually free plugins now!

This gives people time to hop on and settle in for the long haul. It also lets them know that I am actually prepared.
If you ever watch my online tutorials or any other video of mine, you’d know that I give away more than I ever get back.
The last few months, I’ve given away 15 or more of my paid courses, 3 or more one on one Skype calls, and HOURS of FREE online teaching. I give WAY more than I ever receive man.
(Not mad-Just clarifying)

Hey!
I have a subscriber that follows my Cakewalk tutorials who Is blind. He is having a problem with Cakewalk crashing when using his screen reading software. (Software is NVDA)
Any tips I can give him?
BTW kuddos to Cakewalk! This is the only DAW that the program recognizes!
I’ve included his dump files as well.

Grab a cup of coffee and take part in a Live Q&A with the beloved Warren Huart of Produce Like A Pro!
This will be an open interview style with Warren taking questions from the audience as well!

Nice work! I refurbish guitars and give them to people who can’t afford and instrument. I know how much work goes into getting that good of a result. Well worth the time!

Took my son fishing and he caught a whopper of a Bass! He’s 12 so it made his year!
Dad on the other hand was holding back the tears... I had just moved from that spot! Ugh! 😂

I don't use Waves plug-ins. Never have. Don't follow threads about Waves install issues because I have no way to test and no interest in the products.
Hahaha my sentiments exactly! I had and I did say HAD used them for quite some time until they got all dodgy and using extortion tactics comparable to the Yakuza.
I just recently ran into this same issue with a new PC build and after everything else went smoothly... waves again!
The easy solution for me... delete any and all traces of waves and go on without looking back.

To keep everyone happy on here by all means do these videos but use the stock plugins that come with Bandlab. Recording, mixing and mastering is around $47-77 Dollars for other Daws tutorials.
Sounds like someone is just trying to make money??????
And time is money. Keep them coming man! Channels like yours are supplementing the original Cake TV stuff.

Maybe I’m way out in left field here but, if the Stereo Interleave is selected and the track is a stereo WAV file, then the one knob should do the same as two would do in the aforementioned DAWs.
At least to my ears, I hear the percentages being played out.
Center position would be %50 Left and %50 right and if panned say right by 20 then it would be %80 right and %20 left?
It just seems like less clutter to have only the one knob to me.

It’s free...

@Jim Fogle I think I’ve found a happy medium for the cadence. Let me know what you think!
@User 905133 does this seem more/less helpful?

Cakewalk by BandLab has some awesome keyboard shortcuts built under the hood to save you time. Thought I’d showcase some of my favorites.
