@Noel Borthwick Thanks for the file. I did what you requested and here's the result. No difference whether installed as Admin rights or not. I chose to cancel the installation.

My update has not gone well. When I try running Cakewalk the splash screen appears for a few moments then that's it, nothing. The Cakewalk.exe file version is 27.6.0.50 I tried manually running the 27.6.0.50 update file and got a Setup dialog box stating "The installer requires Cakewalk by Bandlab version 2021.04" Tried rolling back but get a dialog box with "The installer requires Cakewalk by Bandlab version 2021.06" So basically I'm stuck. Bandlab Assistant was updated prior to this but I don't recall updating Cakewalk via the Assistant but it looks as though I probably did :(. Edition Windows 10 Pro Version 21H1 OS build 19043.985
